This 2A46 upgrade engineering study was done for the ASR (Army of the Slovakian Republic) and sought to reduce factors which increased dispersion. This was hard core engineering. Of particular interest was the data for a 21 shot series with APFSDS against a T-72 sized target at 2000 meters, with both the the standard and improved gun.
