Quick battle attacker defender question

So...looking at quick battle maps in CMBN for example there are very few maps listed as German attack..does this means that those maps are the only ones i can play as a german attacker? wht happens if i play a map listed as Allied attack as a german attacker?

You can use any attack map with either side defending. The game will put the attackers where they need to be and the defenders where they need to be no matter what army is chosen for what role.

The QB maps often come from pieces of the scenario maps and retain the original type labels. It is just an artifact of that.
