British TO&E for NW Europe 1939-45 (Eat your heart out, Nafziger!)

Recommended Posts

This looks like an absolute must for anyone interested in the subject. Offhand, unless using, say, a company level document, I don't recall anything where it gets into the specific trades and duties. Rank and maybe weapon? Sure, but nothing like this. Would appear to put the "A" in "anal." Of course, the gap between authorized and actual rapidly became a canyon, but it alwys helps to have a baseline. Believe the material on the 79th AD (the "Funnies") would make engrossing reading.
