John Kettler
In 2015 The British Journal for Military History, the Wolverhampton University Department of War Studies and the Tank Museum (Bovington) offered a £1000 prize for the best essay by an undergraduate or graduate regarding British tanks in World War I. The topic is what state the British tank force was in after the great tank assault at Amiens. What shape the units were in, replacements and their structuring and positioning. It then looks at what resulted from a series of key decisions were made regarding the Tank Force, decisions with severe and cascading effects to the end of the Great War. This that essay. Have read a bit of it, and it looks great.
