weapon2010
Just wondering if you guys ever use heavy forest or light forest tiles without adding the trees?
Pete Wenman
Light forest without trees I use a lot. Heavy forest without trees rarely but on occasion it can serve a purpose. P
RockinHarry
Surely do. Light and heavy forest also makes good bushy terrain. Considering the movement obstacle nature of both tile types, one can also consider the disliking of the AI for them, as it almost always seeks to path find around these if possible. Heavy forest is beside marsh and cliff the third vehicle movement blocking type, so it can be used just for that purpose if needed. So it depends if you want it for aestehtic, technical or tactical reasons, just like any the other terrain tile types. weapon2010
I love the look of the heavy forest with no trees, it just looks like tanks only should be able to go through it with high a immobilization possibility, so I guess it was intedned to only be used with trees on top together

The heavy forest tile should simulate those forest parts where tree density would be assumed to be that high, that no tank gets through, or not without possibly immobilizing itself instantly. Brush terrain gives the same looks, in case one does not want the obstacle effect of light and heavy forest, or needs a different ground texture for brush.
