Hi CMFI fans

 

This tweak was originaly for CMRT but could not resisted to try it in CMFI. Still don't own CMFI but it works in demo!

 

- this is modified Battlefront “War Movie” shader CMFI tweaked version

- this will replace the opt-M (alt-M) mode

- put the unzipped folder in "z" folder

- works also with CMRT, CMBN and CMBS

- little or no performance hit

- OS X and Windows

- screenshots are from demo version unedited.

- experimental stuff

- please don't edit shader if You don't know what You are doing!

Next up will be the "Night Vision" mode for CMBS.

 

Great work on this, does it work for CMBN too?

Yup. At least CMBN, CMFI and CMRT use that same file. Can´t tell for CMBS.

Just as an aside and before I go and try this I tried using the RT Advanced one you released in CMFI and despite the scenery and troops looking excellent the icons were pretty hard to differentiate.  So.... I take it you are tweaking each version to the individual game.

Well, It’s hard to have this beauty without little troubles.

My problem with floating icons is not only little differentiation, but also that they are small and I often can’t see who is selected, or who is taking hits. So I made little tweak to try to answer some of those problems. I'll be glad to hear opinion of more experienced players (at least using it with advanced war movie mode).

Selected icon is the same as default. Easier to spot.

Now is clear who is loosing this battle.

Attacker icons (blue) are blue and in negative! (reason is that the default icon shade of green sometimes disappear with this mode).
