PantheraTigris
I'm playing the scenario where the Soviets and Axis are allied, Japan is at peace with China, etc. My Soviet troops just stop at the border with Poland, I cannot cross. I was going to have them aid the Germans in the Poland, then France battle. Why will the game not allow them to cross? It makes the Soviets in the early going extremely limited. Thanks! Bill101
Hi The reason is that the Axis and USSR are allied, but not cooperative, so they have to fight their battles independently while they march towards world domination. As a result they'll have separate spheres of influence, and their own objectives. Bill
PantheraTigris
Thanks. That kinda sucks. I can see the reasoning, but we ought to be able to cross any border we want, especially with an armed force. OH well....
Bill101
The campaign can be edited to do that, but the effect it will have on balance would be quite extraordinary, particularly as the bad guys can use interior lines in a way that the Allies wouldn't be able to.
