Schwarzkommandant Posted July 20, 2015 Share Posted July 20, 2015 From my experience, I think Japan first only works if the Axis player gives you an opening. I've been playing the same opponent for a while, trying different things. Tried a very aggressive German strategy which worked great in ETO, but raised USA mobilization way too fast. Suddenly, the US was ready to DOW in Sept 1941 before my Japanese amphib was ready. Didnt help that I had played mediocre game in China.
