BTW, the HD versions of buildings and roads installed fine (beautiful!), but I noticed some issues like missing building walls and weird border colors on roads when trying the standard versions. -Might wanna' take a look.

Yes, i get the same bug with the Standard versions, HD stuff works fine.

Looks like the shrinking made all Alpha channels disappear. Sorry for the inconvenience, I should have checked the files.

I have corrected the roads, re-uploaded the standard version here:

The buildings are on hold, will take more time to work them out, although I didn't check them.

Let me know if you find other problems please.

Thanks guys.

After UA I'd go USA. First because their vehicles have already a nice camouflage, second because there are less vehicle types than RU. Moreover, RU vehicles have basic colors I don't like one bit, so I'd like to see if someone comes up with a solution to that first (changing the base color of the textures is very hard for me).

Okay. -Looking very forward to seeing the U.S. vehicles get a blast of your magic wand.

Here's hoping the extra hurdles for tackling the Russian vehicles can be overcome without too much trouble.

Thanks again!

I use FRAPS too and am happy with it. I noticed that the newer NVIDIA drivers include a screen capture feature that is probably worth checking out if that is the video card you have.

All the newer nvidia cards above the 6 series line are able to use Nvidia shadowplay. It is less resource intensive than traps and is able to save video and screenshots to different formats. I now use it for my YouTube videos and screenshots as it is leaps and bounds better than fraps IMO. The greatest advantage being that it is light on your cpu/gpu.

Nice mods Kieme.

One question about this sentence :

Note: screenshots showing faces from Aris CMRT mod dedicated to dirty faces (not included in my mod)

Is there a way to have it  in CMBS that was said somewhere ?

Is there a way to have it  in CMBS that was said somewhere ?

This is what I did:

download Aris' faces

unzip and put in CMBS Mods folder under "Aris faces folder"

files are called like this: "german-soldier-skin 1" (I used the one for german CMRT soldiers)

renamed each file by deleting out german and putting ukrainian instead.

Works also for other CMBS nations.

Done.

DO you plan to do a uniform mod for the us side ?

Is it just me or does the multicam look awkward ?

Well, multicams are extremely hard to render on a 3d soldier in scale. I don't really plan to remake any camouflage, I will just add some weathering to existing ones.

US Army is indeed next in line, Abrams first.

Yeah I don't know how effective this kind of camo is.

I found it to be one of the most common I have seen on internet photos of T-84 Oplot, it's different than usual and not too hard to replicate, therefore I decided to go for it. Moreover, the game is set in 2017 so there could be a degree of fantasy on color schemes. I didn't replicate it perfectly, just used the theory as a base keeping the vanilla green color under it.

After some more research looks like this camo was tailored for export tanks (thayland).. but, as the actual crysis has shown, tanks intended to export might be used by national army forces in case of need.

Some more internet pictures:

Now that I notice, I should change the tracks to show the rubber pads (at last some photos have them)..

Yup, the digital "jungle" camo is present on BM Oplots and BTR-3Es (which look kinda like BTR-4Es) solely because they are produced on contract for the Thai Army, not for the Ukrainian Army. Thai Army seems to believe that putting these digital camo schemes on their armor launches them into the 22nd Century and allows them to easily dominate any neighbor. Who can resist a digital tank? :)

I agree that it is reasonable that Oplots might be appropriated directly from the Thai order and sent to the front (as has happened with the BTR-3E), but if produced for Ukrainian service they would probably have a different, temperate camo scheme.

Personally, I'd love to see the 3-color scheme used on recent Bulats in service on both the BM Oplot and BTR-4E.

Great, maybe you can also tweak the color a bit, they just look too saturated and "brown".
