Rokko
Hi, I just saw this documentary, and thought some people would be interested in it, unfortunately it is in German, but maybe there's an English version around as well. Either way, the pictures by themselves are interesting enough. http://www.spiegel.de/panorama/gesellschaft/mh17-wer-hat-die-boeing-ueber-der-ukraine-abgeschossen-a-1011983.html
DMS
Section "Wo?", photo of "Buk" on the road. Already false - it is another city, far not at the Russian border. Didn't read further.
Rokko
They investigated that, or claimed it at least. The narrator said Ukraine said it was near the Russian border, Russia said it was in Krasnoarmejsk (German spelling). The location they give is Luhansk, with photos of the location including the ad billboard which appearentyl is the same today. So maybe you are a little quick to judge.
Rokko
They later give detailed analysis of the most probable route the vehicles (or rather the convoy of vehicles) took. Identifiying the unit it belongs to as the 53rd Anti Air brigade
Rokko
I am suprised by the lack of interest in this. Is the language such a turn off? If there is enough demand for it, it might do a transcription/translation. Edited January 13, 2015 by Rokko
Wicky
Might have been better posted originally in the General Forum rather than in the game forum, despite the incident having happened in the Ukraine.
