shadow bug seems spreading out

Thanks a lot, Phil, for the speedy fix. The vehicles are no longer going dark.

I take it this was a separate fix from the loading speed for ATI/AMD guys?

Phil, I've noticed that there is still a similar problem with shadows on vehicles with the latest 3.0 installers. From a distance, one half (either the turret or hull) of the vehicle will be in shadow, and the other half will not. This is with a GTX 680.

Luke - sorry to hear that. Do these vehicles have hit decals on them? Does the problem go away when you turn shaders off (Alt-R)?

Hi Phi,

No, these vehicles did not have hit decals on them. I don't recall if toggling the shaders off fixed the problem. These were the Shermans in mission #3 of the Foiling Fustian campaign that I saw this problem with.
