Hi ,

Could someone in the know tell me why we can 'mod' the alpha channel for the tree foliage bitmaps to get a nice transparency effect but if we try to do this for the bocage bitmap it doesn't work? (It goes totally transparent). I'm sure there is a good reason the game engine doesn't allow this and I would like to know what it is because I really like the effect with the trees. If there isn't a good reason then can we have it in a future patch/update please. :D

blatant bump :)

Sorry, I know - not exactly a big issue - but Phil did say he would take a look and now the patches are done maybe Phil might have some time? I'm new to CMBN (Though i've had CMFI since it was released) and I find the bocage a bit frustrating trying to navigate a around. Transparency would save some zooming in and out etc for me and maybe a few other people too...

Heh, thanks for reminding me. It's on my list of things to check! :) I've been pretty busy with other stuff for a while.

I only bump this as I still think it would make scenarios in the bocage easier to manage for me and thus more fun. And maybe there is an opportunity (if possible?) to do it when the code is tweaked to port CMRT v3 changes into the CMBN code.
