Kieme(ITA) Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Hello everybody, I'm having this issue: whenever I try to modify a bmp file with a simple painting instrument I get my ingame texture modified but covered in a sort of turquoise green shade. Schrullenhaft Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 I'm not sure what may be happening and don't really know the details. You MAY want to save your files as '24-bit color bitmaps' rather than as 32-bit. Kieme(ITA) Posted April 23, 2013 Author Share Posted April 23, 2013 Thank you very much for your help. the image was of the same type and colour depth, so this is not the problem. This is an example of the problem ingame. Practically, I used a texture, just copied it over the original bmp image and saved it in the same size/format etc. This tecnique worked with walls, for example, but when I try to apply it to a bunker this is the result, the new texture is there but its color is distorted by the turquoise color. A different tecnique with same results: When I use GIMP and just paint something over the bmp image, like a simple spray line in black, then overwrite the file with the same characteristics as the original, then I see in game the texture with the spray line I added, but all the elements pertaining that detail (all those which were in the bmp file) are covered in turquoise too. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
