poesel Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 Wow, this looks interesting. How do you do this? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted December 19, 2012 Author Share Posted December 19, 2012 Hi, I've just upload this tool to Battlefront Repositry. I make tools by using UWSC software like AutoIt. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
poesel Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 Ah, I see, thanks. But this is for Windows so unfortunately not for me. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JonS Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 Is there any sound to the video? Is it export only? The xls /appears/ to have points values assigned to units. Is the tool only used for QBs or can it be used in the editor too? If it can be used in the editor, does it automagically assign points values based on the equivalent QB values? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted December 20, 2012 Author Share Posted December 20, 2012 JonS, The video doesn't have any sound. Maybe video caputure was not able to record sound. >Is it export only? This tool can scan OOB/Formation only. Unit purchaser, my another script, can auto purchase units. Unfortunaly, the .csv format of OOB and Formation Recorder and Unit purchaser is different. OOB and Formation Recorder works on QB and editor. But, it doesn't automagically assign any point value. It can scan only. The charts base on QB Formation(setting: Rarity standard, Typically). Not on the editor. I don't have CMFI, so I don't know this tool can work on CMFI. But, it may work on CMFI with minor change. CMx2 interfaces are almost the same. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CMFDR Posted April 13, 2016 Share Posted April 13, 2016 @Japanzer What would it take to update your great tool to CMFB, and CMSF? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted April 14, 2016 Author Share Posted April 14, 2016 Hi, Â Currently, I don't have CMFB and CMSF in my pc, so I can't confirm my tool, OOB and Formation Recorder, running on CMFB and CMSF. Â If you want to confirm it, please try the followings. Â 1. Using RezExplode.exe in CM mod tools folder, explode the .brz files. 2. Copy "editor option button [Nation].bmp" and "editor option button [Nation] down.bmp" files and paste them to the img folder of my tool. 3. Start my tool and confirm it. 4. If failed, the nation bmp size would cause malfunction. Cut 2 pixel on all side of the "editor option button [Nation].bmp" and "editor option button [Nation] down.bmp" files in the img folder, and you'll get 28x28 pixel "editor option button [Nation].bmp" and "editor option button [Nation] down.bmp" files. 5. Start my tool and confirm it. 6. If failed, I'm affraid that I don't have any idea. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CMFDR Posted April 14, 2016 Share Posted April 14, 2016 Hi Japanzer, thanks for your detailed answer. Wanted to test again the tool with CMBN first to make sure what to expect and I'm having an issue, as it keeps looping with that command : OOBandFormation Recorder Log.txt 16-04-14 16:33  25sec. 857; LeftClick 1089:69 16-04-14 16:33  26sec. 428; LeftClick 1089:53 16-04-14 16:33  26sec. 944; refreshScreen(Searching PLUS mark position) 16-04-14 16:33  *** 2sec. *** 16-04-14 16:33  28sec. 75; CMActivate() 16-04-14 16:33  28sec. 75; !!! CMid is NOT active. CMid Title=CM Normandy; CMid Path= 16-04-14 16:33  28sec. 75; Active Win@CMActivate()=Order of Battle and Formation Recorder 263.uws; Path=C:\uwsc522\UWSC.exe 16-04-14 16:33  29sec. 474; plusExist=1 16-04-14 16:33  30sec. 29; ScanX1@ExtendPurchaseScreen()=1072 16-04-14 16:33  30sec. 29; plusNum@ExtendPurchaseScreen()=2 16-04-14 16:33  30sec. 56; LeftClick 1089:69 16-04-14 16:33  30sec. 645; LeftClick 1089:53 16-04-14 16:33  31sec. 146; refreshScreen(Searching PLUS mark position) I do have CMBN 3.12 with all modules activated, on Win10 and my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 (you mention 1920 x 1020 in the readme but I assume it's a typo, right?) The plus mark on the units screen ingame still looks like your (+).bmp so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted April 14, 2016 Author Share Posted April 14, 2016 Hi, Â As you said, 1920 x 1080 is correct. It's my typo. The positons of plus mark in the scenario editor are serched by (+).bmp. Â Sometimes, the refresh screen dialog displays wrong message, but it don't affect any bad effect. Â The log.txt seems to be right. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CMFDR Posted April 14, 2016 Share Posted April 14, 2016 The tool searched for plus mark position for about 20 minutes, is it normal? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted April 15, 2016 Author Share Posted April 15, 2016 As I don't look your PC, I don't know the exact conclusion, but maybe it's normal. Â The tool may takes 20 minutes for overall info. Plus mark positions searching and clicking them in one page takes 5-10 sec, as your log indicates. Â >16-04-14 16:33Â 26sec. 944; refreshScreen(Searching PLUS mark position) >.... >16-04-14 16:33Â 31sec. 146; refreshScreen(Searching PLUS mark position) Â More Nation, Branch, Formation take more time. Page move, Nation or Branch change take time, too. Â Â 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CMFDR Posted April 15, 2016 Share Posted April 15, 2016 Fair enough, I'll do a video this weekend to show you what's going on. Anyway Japanzer, your tools are groundbreaking, great job you did there. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted April 15, 2016 Author Share Posted April 15, 2016 Thank you. I'm happy to hear that. Â Â 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CMFDR Posted April 17, 2016 Share Posted April 17, 2016 Japanzer, here's the video (very amateurish, sorry) : As you now actually see, the tool keeps searching for the Plus mark position and it does for hours (no kidding, I let it ran all night to be sure). Am I doing something wrong? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted April 18, 2016 Author Share Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) I see your problem, now. It's not normal. And you don't mistake anything. Â I've uploaed my video on youtube, which shows mouse click on "+" mark and extention of the formation smoothly. Â It seems that the tool goes on normaly, but can not control your mouse on CM editor. Â Two points to be confirmed. [1] What mouse do you use? If your PC is notetype, your mouse might be the reason of failure. CMFDR Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) Hi Japanzer, [1] a cheap Microsoft USB Optical Mouse 200 Can you please guide on how do I check if my PC is "notetype" or not? [2]Â on off already. I'll try on another computer tonight. Edited April 18, 2016 by CMFDR 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Japanzer Posted April 18, 2016 Author Share Posted April 18, 2016 My mouse is a cheap USB optical mouse, too. So, your mouse seems to be okay. Â The notetype I said means that nootbook computer netbook, tablet, and so on. These type PCs often use their own devices, including mouse. Â >I'll try on another computer tonight. Â Good luck! CMFDR Posted April 18, 2016 Share Posted April 18, 2016 Tried on another computer and I had that error :Â I will do some tests, it could be my Windows regional settings or my security softwares. I'll keep you posted. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
CMFDR Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) @Japanzer I'm happy to report that it works! Here is a CMFB typical Straggler Group with both options on.  The problem I had was ridiculous! After testing in various configuration for about an hour (Firewall, Security suite, Fraps, Gaming Software, etc. on and off, Windows regional settings), I realized that the Order of Battle and Formation Recorder 263 worked much better when I don't run CM... as an Administrator. Old habit! Then it only was a matter of a few modifications, some images added and Order of Battle and Formation Recorder worked with all CM 2.0x titles I own, including Black Sea and Final Blitzkrieg. Man, your tool is amazing!  Here are the modifications I made in GeneralFunctionCM.uws: *Public mods: - added CMBS and CMFBfile path *Functions mods: - Added Windows 8.1 and 10 to WinVer (found values on a webpage, not sure it actually works.) - modified "Fortless Italy" to "Fortress Italy" - Added CM Black Sea and CM Final Blitzkrieg to getCM(OS), getGameTitle *Procedures mods : - Added CM Black Sea and CM Final Blitzkrieg to CMActivate, CMActivateForEditor, CMStart(filepath), Wait_BMP, checkStyleMods(filepath) *Note: CM Black Sea u.s. army bmp files overwrites WW2 era files so it's probably best to have a second OOB recorder installation to not interfere with WW2 titles. Here are the files: I'm probably missing a lot since there are probably several text image and functions (transword for example) that should be updated too but for now I'm just happy that it essentially works. http://superdupontzeserveur.fr/cm/OOBandFormationRecorderUpdate.zip  Thanks a lot for your efforts and patience Japanzer.   Edited April 22, 2016 by CMFDR 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

76mm Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Wow, I can't believe I've missed this for all these years, I will need to give it a spin as soon as I get a bit more time, thanks for your effort! 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
