PaulMG Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 I installed W8 upgrade to XP, then tried installing CMSF. I get an OpenGL error, update your drivers, message. I have a biostar MB with the integrated AMD/ATI HD 4200 at 512mb shared. As I have read elsewhere, AMD is not longer supporting 2000, 3000, and 4000 series. When I looked at AMD for drivers, there are none for W8 for older GPUs. Schrullenhaft Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 Thanks for reporting your findings. AMD makes it hard to find the driver that you linked to. You would think that they would have that result in their drop-down menu system for finding drivers, but they don't. The drivers provided by Microsoft for AMD Radeons definitely seems to lack OpenGL functionality. These drivers are necessary for ANY of the CMx2 games for the Radeon HD 2000, 3000 and 4000 series video cards. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
