RevJack
Just to say that I think the manual for CMFI is the best one yet! The ring binder and the easy to read text is a huge step forward for us old timers. Thanks battlefront!
Erwin
+1 to that. Just received my package. Xnt work! All you have to do now BF is make the manual actually useful and informative (like the old CM1 manuals) regarding how to play the game, and you'll really be on to something!
Battlefront.com
Thanks! Binders have come a long way since the early days. We thought it might be worth a try, and we are pleased with how it turns out. The idea came about because we intend a manual to apply to all CM games of that particular version. Separate "supplemental" manuals will be setting/release specific. This does two things: 1. Clearly separates the game mechanics from the game content. If you have a game mechanics question, go to Manual X. If it is about what the units are, go to Manual Y. 2. Saves you guys money. If you want a printed manual you only have to purchase a game with manual once for every Version of the game instead of once for every Family. I gather from that that the manuals for families and modules will be online only? How about revisions to Version manuals? Will they be online only? Until specifically told otherwise, I am assuming yes to those questions. Michael
Sergei
Put your out of date Engine Manual under your pillow, and during your sleep the Revision Fairy will have replaced it with the latest edition.
Michael Emrys
You can do what you want, but I'd sooner not have any fairies in my bedroom, thank you just the same. Michael
