Shall try to start an unofficial screenshots thread?

Excerpt from an ongoing PBEM match (I play as UK).

Tactical situation No. 1: Destruction of an unsupported tank.

A lone Pz IV sits somewhere in Italy.

Continued.

Tactical situation No.2: Destruction of a tank pair.

Two Pz IV's trying hard to be a deterrent.

The attack starts as the 25 pounder barrage nears it's end.

M 10 destroys the first mark (apologies for bad camera positioning, it was an extreme hull down position).

The attack was not without it's risks, but they were calculated and deemed worth it. (the shot flew just over the TD, the crew can count their blessings)

The second M 10 finishes the task.

The aftermath.

Note that these two tanks were destroyed in the same turn as the tank from the previous post. Really a bad turn for my opponent.

A lesson for the new players. Don't leave your tanks in the open. Hide them behind terrain, buildings (these can be destroyed, so have a plan for that, too), etc. Use pause command to limit their exposure. Use your infantry to spot and share information, and only then let your tanks dominate the battlefield.

Apologies for the low quality on my aging laptop, but even in such adverse conditions, the Gallic spirit of the noble French shines through, don't you think? 😛

The LMG is the dinky little FN29...

So this Kiwi breach team blew open a wall and - thanks to fortuitous turn-timing which allowed me to catch them just before they rushed in - they shot a whole bunch of Jerries as they were cowering on the ground (8 casualties recorded at game's end). I was reminded of the discussion on another thread about the relative effectiveness of bolt-action rifles. With a cold-blooded killer behind it, every gun can be deadly.

It was brutal to watch - in 2019 it would be a war crime.

That was the previous QB - this is the current one. French infantry, engineers and Spahis (recon troops with Stuarts) running up the slopes of the Gustav Line to bust it open and save the boys at Anzio.

OK, I'll try - but unfortunately my Nvidia control panel is in danish, so I'm not sure I´ll be able to translate all the terms correctly (normally I stick to english in all software in order to avoid language confusion):
GPU: GeForce GTX 760

Nvida settings:
Anisotropic filtering: 16x
Anti-aliasing FXAA: use global (off)
Anti-aliasing - gamma correction: use global (on)
Anti-aliasing - transparency: 4x (super sample)
Anti-aliasing - setting: 2x
Anti-aliasing - condition: improve program setting
CUDA GPU´s: use global setting (all)
Vertical syncronization: use global setting (use 3D program setting)
Max pre-rendered images: 4
Texture filtering - anisotropic sample optimization: off
Texture filtering - quality: high quallity
Texture filtering - negativ LOD-bias: hold
Texture filtering - trilinear optimization: On

Woaaw this is really in details thank you I will compare some functions with my config in the way, anti aliasing, vertical syncro, negativ, trilinear all littles functions that make the difference...!
