Oh, you're doing teh SPW 305(f) soon? Hmm... might hold off on that Char and Char alike battle then since IIRC it involves those as well.

Now, if you make the R35 next, I promise to upload a fully narrated video of me playing the Char and Char alike scenario to youtube :D

We're gonna hold you to it man ;)

Hehehe well, I'll check out if there are any SPW 305's in the scenario.

If there are, I'll wait for Aris' mod for them.

If there's not, I'll be playing tomorrow.

EDIT: Hmm... there IS one... (oh and they're SPW 304, not 305)

We'll see if I do it tomorrow or not. It largely depends on if I get my mic to work properly (right now it's really "boxy" when I record)

Yeah, you guys have nottoriously good spoken English. Oh well, it will be cool to,watch regardless.

Well, I'll be running one test soon, with a quick battle and my poorly set up mic.

If it works, I'll be uploading the proper game tonight.

If it doesn't... well... you lot don't want to hear me yapping on a bad mic with lots of reverb and echos, now do you?

I´ve taken the liberty of making - and uploading - a set of Aris Stuart Recce and Kangaroo mods - simply by renaming the hull, wheel and track files of his previous Stuart III mods. That of course means that this is still 100 percent Aris´ work - I´ve simply renamed the files and uploaded them.

Get them the usual place: http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/mods/5416/details

I don't use brushes for mud efects. I use photoreal samples of mud, dust, splatters, and so on...The brushes I use you can get them from free in the net, not that they are so rare. I first apply some general weathering with Multiply blending mode (opacity usually around 15-20%), then I apply some real (photoreal I mean) stains, dust, mud in Normal mode(opacity varies from 10 to 15%), once opacity reduced, brushes come to help, splatters, stains, etc. But if you want some nice effects go get some masked photoreal dirt pics, select portions, modify opacity, delete... They make the difference.I use filters to modify the Background focus and detailing,...Hue/Saturation command in PS it's of great help too.

I bet that all pieces of advice from the Golden horse's mouth could be compiled and be such a valuable help to all wannabe weathering artist. 📖 💡
