Question: why there are no Air Reconnaissance and observation missions in WW2 game setting within Combat Mission games? Modern era games are providing different kinds of drones. But back in the days during WW2 Air Reconnaissance was a big thing. As far as I know, we dont have any Air Reconnaissance within WW2 games here right? I've started thinking about it after watching videos such as this one: I think it would be a great addition to WW2 setting.
Hi everybody, I started compiling a document of the best tips I came across in these forums. They mainly relate to CMBS but many of them are applicable across all CMx2 games. Then I realised these might be of use to other players. It is a bit ad-hoc but I hope everyone is credited for their good ideas and sage advice. So here it is: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ytpps4p2fcwall7/Treasure_Trove_CM_Tactics_Info_V1.4.docx/file It is a docx so you can add your own tips or edit as you wish. (if you want to suggest other places I should put it then do so. I'm going to upload it to A Few Good Men too)
"CMFB uses the v3.0 engine of CMx2, same as Red Thunder and Black Sea. Some features that are new to the Western Front include mortars being able to fire from inside their halftracks, and tank riders." Are there no new features for the CMx2 engine ? Was there some fine tuning in the mechanics (infantry spotting/cover) or will AI improvements be added ? Will there be any new graphic effects and features, improvements or optimizations ? I just need some news on that otherwise i cant justify spending money on it. BFC must have done something to improve gameplay...please tell us.
