  1. Thanks MOS:96B2P, So now do I create an extra file for mods or do I simply put the mods into the mod tools folder? I understand it is important to keep them separate, so they can be pulled out of the game files when applying updates and patches. Not really sure how all that works.
  2. Thanks Sgt. Squarehead, Pretty sure I'm not the right one for that sort of thing. I am in over my head just trying to figure out how to download mods. I do like these game a lot though.
  3. Thanks General Jack Ripper (wonder how many remember Dr. Stangelove?), Now how do I find them? Is there a repository where I can just search for them?
  4. A good place to start for a campaign/scenario: http://www.69th-infantry-division.com/
  5. It would be nice to have the meeting at Torgau with the Soviets - just for fun!
  6. Interested because I am currently playing the first scenario of the Amiens Tonight Campaign (Prelude on the Seine) and it would be helpful to mount some infantry on the Cromwells.
  7. You are probably right. Come to think of it, don't think I would have gone for it myself.
  8. Thanks MOS:92B2P, Hope they come out with more content for both of these games soon. Really looking forward to Fire and Rubble for CMRT. Any idea what's on the burner for CMFB?
  9. Also, the set-up looks different. Hat's off for doing this series - I appreciate the effort.
  10. What mods are you using? - notice the airborne troopers uniforms and manner of speaking is different from basic game.
  11. I have also had the honor to speak with veterans of both sides of the war in Europe, including an American tanker (Sherman) who talked about getting multiple Shermans shot out from under him. He just got in the next one they gave him and pushed on.
  12. My infantry cannot ride tanks in CMBN - even with Engine 4. Thought Engine 4 would permit that, but I guess not for CMBN. Is this just the way it is or am I missing something?
  13. Thanks for your patience on this IanL, You are - of course - correct. Clicking the ghost buster symbol does the trick!
  14. Thanks mjkerner, Don't know why I am hesitant - guess I just enjoy playing these games a lot and don't want anything to mess up the works.
  15. Thanks mjkerner, Would the mods work if I downloaded older mods (say to version 2 or 3) into my version 4 games? Thanks.
  16. Thanks IanL and Schrullenhaft, I put in a ticket and they straightened this out for me. It was an activation issue. I am up and running in Italy!
  17. Thanks MOS:96B2P for the info and to you and Sgt Squarehead for your candidness.
  18. Hi BFC Elvis, Just want to make sure I understand how to proceed. Does this mean we need to install the 2.10 patch right after we download the Rome to Victory module or is it included in the current module? Should we start up the game with the new module once before we install the patch (assuming we need to install the patch)? Is there an option to do a full installation after purchasing the Rome to Victory module - and will that do away with the need for the separate patch installation? Thanks.
  19. Thanks MOS:96B2P, I understand that you have to remove all mods before upgrading right? Just want to know some of the ins and outs.
