I would like to know this as well. CMFI have been on my wish list for a very long time and almost bought it last month.

I know you gentlemen are very busy, but any hints on when the next module will come out??? I would really like to see the Leopard I next to a M-60a1. Another tracked vehicle I am excited about is the Gepard and the Marder. You Gentlemen did a great job putting together CMCW, now we just need the next module. Thank You Much Lukas

Try downloading everything available for CMBN or CMSF (Especially). Have fun spending all day clicking the download button, even before you get to unzipping and relocating all those files. You might even want to organize them.

As Grey_Fox said, you can use scenarios in place of quick battle maps by just moving them (In the editor load the file and then save it) to the "Quick Battle Maps" folder. you want to use the editor because its faster, and you will duplicate the map files (By saving) so you can use them in both modes.
I always assign groups to my troops in QB maps. I don't think AI groups (2-16) work in quick battles without doing that. You can study the AI plans for the maps you move over, and then set groups that make the most sense to that AI plan OR you can just replace the units in the scenario with ones you want and then adjust the groups again so your new troops are in the AI groups. If you aren't familiar with the editor this will be gibberish. If you knew this already then my bad
CMCW came with 3 ai plans per side per map. Other titles packed in more AI plans. I recall specifically CMFI and CMFB having the most elaborate plans, but I'm not 100%. I remember seeing at the most 16 ai slots filled, but usually around 4-8.

Yeah I never saw this as a fun part of quick battles. Thats why I always set my artillery as 5 minute reinforcements in the editor. You can set artillery as 5 min reinforcement in QB's too

The bets part of the NTC is it's so fast paced that you can iterate over and over again. I replayed the first scenario dozens of times trying to figure out the correct formula. It's a pain in the ass but will make you a much better player in the long run.

The Spoiling Attack is supposed to be a wake up call.. you are supposed to learn that rushing in to an uncertain situation can be costly.  The artillery in this scenario in particular is meant to canalize you into a certain path, where they can kill you better... if you ran into artillery right away then you drove into it... there is no artillery set to hit the blue player on the set up zone.
I hope you take this campaign for what its meant to teach: how to husband your force, conduct a proper recon, follow proper tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), including use of terrain masking, and most of all respect the enemy.. they are very capable in the NTC campaign... oh, and recon!
If you continue with the campaign, your situational awareness and ability to deal with the OPFOR should be dramatically improved... that will be fully tested in the final exam scenario at Red Pass.

So the Hinds you're going to just have to deal with, which I know sounds like a crapshoot, but the arty only hits one key, obvious piece of terrain. Two things on that: unless you are rushing pell-mell as if it is a QB meeting engagement, that shouldn't catch you out. Secondly, the first lesson of the NTC is that the "open desert" is often anything but and you need to fight dirty. As for being hit in setup, that's simply not true. I even went back and unpacked the campaign to double-check the support targets, and there is only a single one for the OPFOR and it ain't in your setup, that's for certain. It's certainly near it, but get used to it: this happens in Cold War often.
Without spoiling too much for those who haven't played, the Soviets are hitting the most obvious terrain, but far from the best terrain to fight form. You need to use the valleys and crags to set up flank and rear shots, and you definitely have the time to get there.

I'm still new to CM but already own CMSF2, CMBN and CMFB and having a great time playing all of them.
I have really enjoyed the various Youtube channels and these were a real inspiration for me to purchase the games.  Amazing what the YT algorithm will offer up and I particularly want to give a huge shout out to the work done by Josey Wales and Usually Hapless.  Fantastic content.  I can't begin to imagine the time that goes in to making that content but I just want to say thanks.  Too bad Josey Wales seems not to have posted any videos for over a year now.  Anyway, I'm just about to add CMFI to my collection purely on the basis of his AAR videos.

I usually say this when people say that CM games are expensive:

I have lots of games that have cost me 20 or 30 $ - and I have played them less than 10 hours. Then there´s CMBN. It costs far more, but it has given me thousands of hours of gameplay - and still does.  So when it comes to price per hour of gameplay, CMBN is by far the cheapest game I ever bought.
Like the others, I recommend you try the demos: If you like playing them, then you have found a game that you probably wont get tired of for a very long time.

Yes, i like that we are finally all sharing our own backstory and adding in more flavor to each other's.
For story sake, i think after US have fully withdrawn from Syria after the disaster in my storyline. They decide to help Ukraine to combat Russia as revenge for their hand in the organized uprising of the rebel coalition.
This should lead to CMBS with US/Ukraine forces vs Russia forces.
