Haha, Chuckdyke, you're priceless.
Anyway, I'm out of here.
Why, if we had a new DLC for BS called "Dutch freedom beggars" I would actually buy it.

We are setting the clock back to 1976, so CMCW will now encompass 1976-1982

2 tanks (1 each side) are free to use for everybody, so you can check it yourself.
Also the graphics are bad, since the game was designed to be an air game so everything looks nice from above, but not from the ground.

IL2 Tank Crew looks amazing. Anyone know if it's good vs the AI or designed for multiplayer?

Hahaha.... said he and then hardly 24 hours later he pushed the "purchase" button. Damn curiosity.
Then you can tell us what do you think of this gameÂ

Fair point, it's just that the reviewer compared them so I thought I'd mention it. I had a look for a demo but I don't think there is one?
Unfortunately there isn't.

Coupled with the cartoon graphics I think we're probably better off with CM.Â
While both being wargames, the two offer very different gameplay (real time vs turn based), so they aren't competitors.

Not sure the BF fans will like it if this is the look:
I also don't like the looks, however when anybody drops here criticizing the outdated graphics of the CM series, he always gets the same answer: it doesn't matter and fancy graphics are not needed for a wargameÂ

There was also a long term member here @DMS who started discussion about Bucha and other mass graves all being fake because Russians do no such thing.

But I dont play CM on steam.Â
But OP was asking for the steam deck, which obviously uses Steam, so in this case, there's no need for 3rd party software.

I just try to run cold war on steamdeck, but it failed.
Though I can play cm on Pc ,but if the game can run on steamdeck,it will be fantasy.
CM games can run with a custom proton, if you can get that on the steam deck then I guess it would be able to run it (I play CM games on Linux which steam deck is also using).

If you have a phone like the Samsung Note, you can play Combat Mission through a free program called Parsec.Â
Steam has already this built in. You just have to get the app (steam link) from the store (android or ios).

Hopefully they´ll get at WW2 anytime as well.
Roadmap for Cold War Series:
- Our first planned DLC is Central Storm. This expansion will bring those battles from Red Storm that are part of the Central German area. These will be updated battles and maps from Red Storm and Germany Reforged, and some new scenarios to replace those moved into Northern Storm. Plus, the addition of Belgium to the national datasets.
- Northern Storm -Â The new DLC will add Poland, Denmark, and the Netherlands to the game with new maps, scenarios, and campaigns. A few scenarios from Red Storm that fall into this area will be updated and added to this DLC.
On Deck (Planned but order subject to change)- Arctic Storm – Take the war to Sweden, Finland, and Norway.
- Mediterranean Storm – The war moves into Southern Europe, and we look at Spain, Italy, Hungary, Yugoslavia, and others.
Future Ideas- More Cold War Eras 50s thru 70s
- Other Conflict Zones like the Mid-East and Far-East
- Other time periods (World Wars and Modern Conflicts)
