Hey all! After playing the Combat Mission BN Demo, I've decided to go ahead and purchase a package. I'm not sure *which* though. My first thought is just do the CM:BN Big Bundle, but I wanted to check here, as this is what I'm looking for: I like smaller, more tactical engagements than larger ones, and I like more urban settings (buildings, hedgerows, etc) vs open fields. With this in mind, what would you guys recommend? Thanks!

They do have radios and they are green to 1st company HQ, which I thought meant they could communicate? That's why I'm confused that I still can't call in an mortar strike from 1st platoon hq or 4th platoon hq...everyone can communicate. when I try to call it in I get the "no line of site" I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. The mortar is deployed. The scout team can see an enemy, and has communication to 1st company HQ (it's green in the little communications panel) 1st platoon HQ is green to Charlie company, as is 4th platoon HQ, who has the mortars. I can try to call in the mortar strike from either 1st or 4th HQ, but the issue is the same, no line of site. Just trying to understand this wonderful game. Thanks again for the help!

So my scouts can't radio an enemy location to the HQ Platoon, who can then order the mortar strike? Why not? that's exactly how it would work in real life, no?

I am really enjoying the demo, but I have no interest in buying the full game if they are still using the same DRM. Did they ever change to a more user friendly DRM? (Googling combat mission drm just brings up nightmare stories ) Thanks!

Ah-hah! ok. How do I know which units can do this? (is there a way to tell?)

I'm following a tutorial, but my mortars say they don't have line of site. I have a scout from 1st platoon that is in contact with 1st platoon hq (green) 1st platoon HQ is green to charlie company, and has a radio. 4th Platoon HQ has a radio, is green to charlie, and has the mortars.
