  1. Thanks for the heads up! I was wondering if that were the case or not. I thought my setting would prevent that. I am still trying to learn how to use padlet. I'll try to fix that.
  2. I have been experimenting with using virtual corkboards for war gaming such as capturing AARs. Here is a few experiments I am at present doing in regard to how to best capture an AAR for CM. https://padlet.com/rlwbeachbum/s7h9xuail45a The cool thing about a virtual corkboards is that one has almost unlimited size to past stuff into them. Also one can export the cork board into a PDF document or and Excel spreadsheet. There are a number of providers for virtual corkboard/white boards and most it seems have a free version. I am finding padlet is working well for me. https://padlet.com/features Also, I came up with a idea for a display format for action/event timelines that might be cool to add someday into some future version of CM and that too is in my little fledgling AAR.
  3. I just watched this video on muzzle breaks. My question is does CM model the effects of muzzle breaks and muzzle blasts in general such as smoke obscuration patterns and blask risk to near by infantry`?
  4. Got it! You set the target not fro the shooter but rather fro the waypoint. I didn't know you could do that. Thanks.
  5. If that is the case how does one use the optional targeting for version 4 hull down command to select the target to use to determine being hull down.? Also, is there a way to fire artillery on map coordinates albeit with less accuracy? .. and BTW, thanks for the reply?
  6. I have never been able to area target anything beyond a clear line of sight (LOS) of a selected shooter. I can do so if the target has a clear LOS either target a unit or an area target. But if I try to area target a point that I have no clear LOS I get nothing when I left click on the map. Should I be able to do that? And if so is there some special command to do that other than select a shoot command and left clicking on the maps. ?. If I should be able to do that and there is no special command is there any known bug that might prevent me from doing so? thanks.
  7. The status or action text (whatever it is called) on the lower left of the screen that says things like searching, firing, deploying etc is all scrambled and does not show the correct units. I had this problem before and found a post that showed me how to fix this. However, I can no longer find that post. Can anyone tell me how to load the correct text files? Thanks
