Yes where is Gerasimov? Two rumors I heard on TV:
1. he was finally wounded (leg broken) during the Ukrainian strike done last time
2. he was dismissed on May 5th.

I am right now in an interesting PBEM. The scenario has three small villages, one counting for 350 VP.
The US player did pass already this objective but I have still a single spy unit undetected inside the 350 VP village. I think there are no more US troops there.
Since the objective is occupied, does this spy unit count or not?

I really don't understand this. They are acting without any logic. I was asking myself if it was a kind of Maskirovka.

Speaking of code legacy, if the Area Target command could be splitted in two:
Circular target (existing Area target)
Rectangular target (new!)Perhaps something for Engine 5.

Indeed, only the Ukrainians can have them on map. But, for a Russian Anti-tank Battalion, the MT-12 are only off map.
Any particular reason? A Russian doctrine behind?

Just one question, is there a possibility to put the MT-12 Rapira anti-tank gun on map?
Reading few articles, it seems that the MT-12 Rapira gun can be towed by MT-LB or MT-LBM and can be used for direct fire. So far, looks like it can only bring indirect fire in the game.

The Russians have different base vehicles, which you can only change at Btn level (BMP-2, BMP-2M and BMP-3), but only the BMP-3M has any sub-variants with addons that you can change at individual vehicle level (ARENA, ERA, Shtora).Thanks, I see my mistake. What is strange is that with US formations, this can be changed without going on the top-level.

Well I can change between BMP-3K and BMP-2K, the 1st Command Vehicle.

Between Artillery Observation Vehicle, I have the choice between:
- PRP-4M
- BTR-80 1V152
- MT-LBU 1V14
Is there any difference between the three? Pros / Cons?
On a side note, why is it not possible to execute the Open Up command on the BTR-80 1V152?

I am wondering why I can't change the BMP type in the Battalion Tactical Group. BMP-3 or BMP-2 are grey out. Am I missing something?
I have the same problem with BTR types.

Few variants of BMP-1 like BMP-1, BMP-1P, BMP-1PK, BMP-1K
Few variants of T-55 like T-55MV, T-55-1974, T-55-1970
Few variants of BTR-60 like BTR-60PB, BTR-60PBKAnti-Tanks like SPG-9, RPG-18, RPG-29, variants of AT-3 like AT-3B, AT-3C, AT-3D perhaps AT-4A
Small arms like AKM, AKMS, RPD, DSHKM, NSV
Few more artillery like:
M1937 82mm mortar
M46 130mm field gun
D30 122mm howitzer
BM-21 Grad rocket artillery
BM-30 Smerch rocket artillery
9A52-4 Tornado rocket artilleryAlso, winter textures included by default in the game without mods.

We can always see this long wait as a good reason to improve our patience.
I may be wrong but I believe there will be nothing beginning of this year. Why? I think Battlefront would have announced the long-awaited expansion of Combat Mission Black Sea. But, given the current geopolitical context and the tense discussions between US and Russia, and with the risk of Ukraine invasion, I think Battlefront is waiting the outcome. By the way, I bought CMBS last month and I am having a blast. Can't wait for the expansion. Don't forget BM-21 Grad for Ukrainians and Russians, BM-30 Smerch and 9A52-4 Tornado for Russians.

I am sure Battlefront will surprise us. For content, it depends on whether they want to picture near real events or not.
Now that CMRT Fire and Rubble module is out, is it CMBS next to obtain a module?

Only thing I will be happy with in engine v5 is the ability to split squads inside vehicules. If I want a scout of two men out, I don't want to unload the whole squad. The rest is a bonus.
