Certainly and hence the frustration. Maybe in 2024, I'll come back to see if another CMSF2 patch was released to solve the Gill and add few additional rounds for the Syrian Airborne & Special Forces. And oh, if a bug is closed-design intent, just say it. -

In fact, this is very funny. I screwed up my orders giving a squad a Target Briefly order and a Fast move. But, I completely forgot the pause. So, in fact, the squad just fired one single shot before moving the next turn. And it's been five minutes that I see my opponent shelling the building for nothing. Javelins, Mk19s, small arms... There's nothing in there. Psychological warfare... -

I just would like to pick up enemy ammunitions if it fits your weapons. Just that. I hate to leave a good position out of ammo but with some on the floor. Taking enemy weapons is more complicated to code. -

Well, I hope something is in the pipe for engine v5 then. -
My small team is using 7.62 x 39 rounds. They have just captured an enemy team also using 7.62 x 39 rounds. But, looks like the ammunition amount has not changed. Is it not implemented to take the enemy ammunition if it fits your needs? This is what I would do.

I have a team of uncons fighter. Five soldiers one of them having a RPG-7V1. They have engaged a firefight with an enemy team on a rooftop. The enemy team is at 145m. So the RPG guy is shooting at them. Next turn, I have thus ordered a Target Light on the enemy team but the RPG guy is still shooting and wasting ammunition. Green team. Is RPG fire considered in Target Light command? Thanks

I am puzzled now. I was willing more AI plans, more triggers, ... but after several testing; no plan survives first contact with the enemy. And this is it, you can do plenty of AI plans, if your AI group is entering the enemy kill zone, guess what, it will continue again and again using the same path. There is something missing that more AI plans won't help with. An human would stop, think and try another path. Plan A, plan B for AI group? I don't know. Maybe the TacAI directly should be the one to enhance to simplify scenario author task. Right now, PBEM is the way to go. AI is for training imo.

Thanks, shader off is better indeed but using Syrian Army Realism mod, I prefer to turn shader on. Well, if there is no other option, I can live with it.

I have tried plenty of in-game graphic settings but I have still diagonal lines using the zoom. When I am playing with zoom x1.0, there is no issue. But, when I zoom in, the diagonal lines are appearing. Any suggestion to solve this problem? I have an old GeForce GTX 980 with the latest driver normally. Maybe an option in there. Thanks a lot

And yes, I know the development of CMSF2 is finished but when I see cluster munitions in CMCW, I wonder if this is something that could be added in the planned engine v5 upgrade. I don't know if this is in the engine or not. Same question for CMBS of course.

Yes I know the workaround. It is just that this is not only for a scout team. I may need an anti-tank team or whatever. -
I am now playing turn based PBEM more than real time. But, just to know, was this problem fixed? Will we have it inside the incoming patch for the Matrix/Slitherine PBEM++ and Tournament systems? By the way, at the same time, any chance to introduce the MQ-1 Predator drone by patch? Is it something feasible at low cost? I would love to have it in CMSF2 even if a plane can do it. Thanks
