While I can understand peoples frustration and I do think communication could be better. I do not think mud slinging by either side does any good at all.
Everyone needs to take a step backwards, after all this is just a game we are talking about. If you feel angry, frustrated, bitter, or whatever, then maybe its time to take a break, play a different game, spend more time with family and friends, or something similar.
Whatever you choose to do, there is absolutely no point in coming on here and complaining. There is no proof that it makes a blind bit of difference to release schedules or projects.

I've been playing CM games since CM1, I have all CM2 titles and packs, I will continue to buy whatever is offered, whenever it is offered.
I still have not had time to play every campaign, scenario or battle, so there is still plenty to do. Plus there are also people continuing to make great campaigns such as George MC, Dragonwyn, Paper Tiger, and Frank is soon to deliver a paid for campaign for RT.

If I get fed up with some of titles due to bugs, AI or boredom, then I go and play something else, or go to the gym, have a walk.

Tonight, I have finished the complete (as it is now called) CampaignPack „Summer of Destruction“.
During the next hours, I will complete the short intro file and then start to send the content to all the guys who have ordered it. Within the next 2-3 days, everybody should get it 👍🏻

    There is a small limitation:
The announced 20 master maps are not included yet. I simply don‘t have the patience to wait any longer with the release. I will send these maps with a second mail within the next 2-4 weeks.
    Regards
    Mr.X

I think you may be the one that is misunderstood slysniper. I think Frank has handled it admirably. He was just trying to set the record straight that what he is offering was never going to be payware.
He is offering to give us all something for free that has cost him many hours of research and dedication, and you have seen fit to have a dig at him?

I really don't see the need or point in your post to be honest

I've never been comfortable with praise and have issues accepting compliments when offered but I'm learning.  Thank you. Feedback on the other hand is very welcome.
I'm actually semi-retired now and have much more time on my hands than I did ten years ago. I did spend the whole day on Sunday getting the entire campaign story worked out, organising it into four phases rather than two and tracking the consequences of a loss through the script until its resolved. An enormous job but I did that while listening to some classical music and prog rock albums from the 70s so it was pleasant. But that's an outlier. Usually, it's 1-2 hours a day, most days which is a good pace. But I am playing Dominions 6 just now so I'm not going to burn out. I am in no hurry to finish Dinas and I want to enjoy the campaign creation process as much as possible.
This game is a game for all moods: I enjoy making and improving the maps, I enjoy scripting AI plans and testing them and I enjoy just playing the game, seeing it all come to life. I even enjoy creating the artwork necessary and writing the briefings when I'm in the mood. They're all different types of activities so when I don't feel like 'working', I just improve the maps.

I get the difference, but I can also separate fantasy from reality.  Playing Call of Duty doesn't make you a violent person.  Playing CM doesn't mean you support the war in Ukraine or condone how the war is being fought.
Steppwulf, I'm not trying to needle you and I apologize if I have been too argumentative or have not been as precise as I intend.  My ultimate point this: Battlefront developed a game before the world events changed.  As far as I am concerned, they have nothing to apologize for or be ashamed. If they want to slow or stop development of CMBS as a means of being sensitive to current events, I can respect that.  But I am also a customer and I want more of this particular product. They have already invested time, finances, and resources into development. Why thow out the baby with the bath water?  Is it possible to change the setting and create a win-win situation?

That's a great addition! In fact I already made a mod of it using the hull from R2V's Firefly Hybrid :

If I hear of an extremely late M4 75mm variant though, it would be the M4A1E9.
It was basically a "poor man's" HVSS suspension made by extending the VVSS's track connectors and achieving the same width and thus ground pressure. I believe these would start being present on the front around March 1945.
It seems only M4A1s were remanufactured, no M4's.

Seen here in service with the 2nd French Armored division in late April 1945 :

Here is an article on this.
    http://the.shadock.free.fr/sherman_minutia/e9suspension/e9suspension.html

To recapitulate, I hope the Sherman IC Firefly Hybrid (Commonwealth + Poles) and the Sherman IIA (Polish faction only) will be ported from R2V.

As it happens, that's an option I was considering. The StuGs get spotted instantly by Shermans anyway so not much would really be lost.

I actually do slip in some small terrain undulations to break up LoS because the real world is not generally billiard table flat (except perhaps for beaches). I've been doing that as long as I've been making maps for this game  Check out Beau Guillot for a good example - Google Earth shows flat terrain but as you can see, there are plenty of small dips.

May be, my English is too poor and I misunderstand you @slippy, but the CMRT-BattlePack will cost nothing other than registration to have it sent on the release date (there is no download option planned on any webpage) .
It is a fan project without any financial interests !!! 😎

It would be good if there could be more cover bonus added to all map tiles.
In reality even what looks like flat terrain is rarely so, and some kind of at least basic cover can mainly be found, whether by slight undulations, dips, rises, bases of hedges, etc
In game unless the map designer actually includes all of these slight differences then the terrain is considered flat and offers no cover at all.
I think this impacts on the amount of heavy casualties seen in CM as a lot of time there is no cover and targets can be seen and engaged from long distance.
It would be too large a task to adjust all maps. A better alternative may be to adjust all cover values up, so that even flat ground has some potential to at least partly protect your troops.
Next time your out and about, take a look at what appears to be a flat field or the like, and if you can get your view close to the ground. You will find it is generally difficult to see that far due to the reasons mentioned above.
