Changes to Russian side I am unsure. I would think their military has not changed much. Increase number of infantry but decrese experience to green to reflect large number of Conscripts. Small number of Veteran units such as Wagner Group. Large amount of artillery.

Change scenarios to reflect nature of the war. Trench warfare. Urban fighting. Mechanised asaults. Artillery.

Add Ukranian Technicals made from Modified Pickup Trucks for light troop transport.

Omg yes! I loaded a saved game in under a minute, usually takes up to 5, long enough for the landing screen song to play multiple times. I'd have time to make food during loads usually. Scrolling and input lag virtually gone too, and it was REALLY bad in CMCW.  
I think maybe i need to upload a video of how bad the white flashing is, if stuff is dying during an artillery strike the game is practically unplayable. I may as well be throwing flashbangs at myself in a COD game. 

With the latest 22.8 series of drivers for an AMD GPU, the game won't work.
With the current recommended driver (22.5.1) everything is fine.

I believe the CMx1 games will need to Alt-Tab / Esc out to the dekstop and then remaximize them. This should improve the display performance (for reasons I'm unsure of).
I don't know if 'setting CPU affinity' makes any difference or not, but you could look into that. Typically the minimizing and re-maximizing has gotten the performance back up to reasonable levels and the CPU affinity may not do much more.
