  1. Went ahead and got the full game last night, unfortunately looks like it’s only barely playable on my M1 MacBook Air, and that’s being generous. Very sluggish, models/textures are extremely degraded at anything beyond zoomed all the way in. Note this is without shadows, and shaders, but AA active so it doesn’t look entirely like Minecraft. Even small scenarios like NTC “you ain’t cav” are incredibly sluggish. Maybe I’m doing something wrong here? I used to run CMBS on my 2013 MacBook Pro without issue at reasonable visual detail, and this game runs considerably worse. Took the risk, so it’s on me, but I’m pretty disappointed that the performance is so poor.
  2. Hello all! Anyone running this on OSX Big Sur with the M1 chip? How’s gameplay? Would be running on an M1 MacBook Air in my case. Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks for all of these, Kieme - really improves the game! Will you be reworking the American infantry units as well? (Adding dirt, sharpening, etc. etc.)
  4. Great work, Kieme! Interested to see the "enhanced/improved" US uniforms when you get around to them.
  5. Would be great to see some "rag tag" Russians with a variety of different uniforms being used within the same squad, as this seems to be common from the recent photos I've seen... Maybe the idea is that by 2017 Russia would have fully transitioned..
  6. This! Definitely stressful when there are mortars and precision artillery strikes abound... Re: SOF, why not just up the skill/motivation/leadership modifiers on specific units (LRS Teams/Scout Teams) to simulate Rangers/SF units? Add coyote brown gear to visually differentiate those troops from the regular line troops.
  7. Yeah, that makes perfect sense. My point was that many Grads firing at once make for a really big target for anyone on the opposing force. In a perfect world, "grid removers" are neutralized before they get in the fight...
  8. On the flip side, can't imagine a division of grads salvoing wouldn't be a division of grads for very much longer -- counter battery fire would be on them like white on rice, not to mention US/NATO air assets. That said, and I'm not expert on soviet-era weapons systems, but a grad is essentially a modern katyusha? not exactly a precision weapon.
