As with many weapons and doctrines, I think the true effectiveness of the MANPADs (and AAA) is forcing the helicopters and jets higher up and further away rather than killing them. The Hinds traditional attack profile, fast in a shallow dive, would be too dangerous, so you end up firing the heavy machine gun and rockets at the very edge of their effective range (or beyond). However, I have no idea whether this is modelled in the game.

Invasion of Schleswig-Holstein and Denmark. Germans and Danes vs Poles. A lot of Leopards 1 vs T-55's and Polish airborne units.

M41DK1 Super Bulldogs  for the Bornholm campaign. Invasion scenario with Polish Naval Assault Division vs the light forces on the island. Also old 20pdr Centurions acting as tank destroyers.

The contemporary of PT-76 would be the U.S. M41. A vehicle I know  little about, besides it showing up for a couple scenes in 'Full Metal Jacket'. Max speed a very fast 45 mph (72 kph), weight 25-ish tons. it was like as super-sized Chaffee. A very different sort of beast compared to PT-76

As far as I know, then one of the main reasons why the Danish army maintained the M41 in service throughout the Cold War (albeit heavily modified) on Bornholm island (in the middle of the Baltic) was that it was expected not to meet much armour that was heavier than the PT76 or ASU57/85.  As the PT76 was designed around being able to float and sail quite well, then the a more conventional tank of similar weight was deemed to more than enough.

Does Capt. have any smoke fire missions available? If he is planning a rush, wouldnt a smoke screen help?

A North German module could include the Brits, Dutch and Danes (in addition to the Bundeswehr)  against Poles and Soviets. At least I think that was how they would have deployed. Quite open terrain but lost of farms, villages with dead ground.

Just out of curiosity. When spotting in the game, does size matter? I.e. is a Ferdinand easier to spot than a Stuart? I would heavily reduce the spotting capacity of crewmen without proper optics when buttoned.

I think you are right regarding the accuracy and aiming. Personally I would throw a randomness to the aiming. I.e let it deviate xx seconds from the aimpoint, so that at very long range the dispersion would naturally become higher, and hull down positions would be interesting.

Command is an awesome simulation with some very talented scenario designers out there and a very committed community. I would strongly recommend it to any body with an interest in post WW2 naval or air warfare. Just the database is worth the money.

I totally agree with some of the posts above, taking all things into consideration it surely would not hurt battlefront to just post a quick update once a month or something similar. It would not take a lot of time and would do countless good for their customer relations. At the moment it all seems a bit one sided, battlefront hold all the cards and we, the customer just have to wait until they deem necessary for any updates etc, in my opinion that is not how a company should behave in this day and age, it should be a two-way street of input/output so that customer and provider feel they are both benefiting in some way.

Add into this the changed AI behavior that has made many scenarios/campaigns unplayable, and therefore the reluctance of users to create more content until this is fixed. All of these things add up to put battlefront in a poor light, with time users will grow tired and look elsewhere, and that would be a shame for all of us.

All we are asking for is a little communication!

Thanks. I am quite surprised that they would go with sub standard armour plate, and at the same time still producing a lot of (over) engineered vehicles like the Panther/Tiger etc etc. Doesn't seem very coherent.

Any chance of adding a hull down / turret down indicator (i.e. you indicate the facing at a waypoint and then the indicator could show red/red or green/red or green/green)? Also an arc indicating the LOS would also be great when planning waypoints so that you can better plan routes that we are hidden.

If we could have temporary camouflage in the game, then it would be great too. Ideally I would like to be able to camouflage vehicles and troops further during the set up. It should not be something that you could do during the battle due to the time it takes, but I think that a heavily camouflaged StuG or machine gun team should be much harder to locate than it is now.

Similarly if we could have prepared positions for vehicles then it would be great too.

Probably be Red Thunder then for me, but I would have loved it to be based around the 1941/1942 .. I just find it more interesting to play around with the early war stuff where the armour isnt too powerful.

A France 1940 or Desert 1941/42 would also be great!
