Hello, I recently opened a support ticket to restore an old account. I read here they sometimes recommend posting in the forums about this issue as well, so this is what I know: I have tried a couple times to follow the instructions to reset my password as instructed on the main news page with no luck, it says ‘Can not find specified username and email address in database’. I think the problem is that the log in is so old that at the time your username was also your email address unless you changed it, as indicated in the 2018 news post asking everyone to reset passwords. I have not found any evidence in my records that I manually changed my username to something other than my email address, which is still correct and active. I just wanted to see if it was worth posting here in case Elvis or someone could help behind the scenes - I am trying to resolve this quickly so I can take advantage of the Battlefront sales before they end. If anyone wants my ticket number or relevant details please let me know here that you DMd me. Thank You for you help!

Hi all, I'm considering getting the 3.0 upgrade - I have BN, Commonwealth, and MG bought as a package in Christmas 2013. Would buying and installing 3.0 for these games overwrite/spoil any in progress saved campaign games I have for my current version or would they be OK? Thanks! - Genosse

I would love to, I just need more practice with the system - the tactics all make sense, I just need to learn the mechanics. Is there some kind of newbie multiplayer group? Is there some kind of live multiplayer, or is it just PBEM a la Steel Panthers?

I hope this gets back on track. I'm new to the community and am interested in community made full length campaigns - any suggestions from vets, I have the full BN suite?

I am really enjoying the game, but I will be looking to get FI and GL soon because the flavor of that era and theater do appeal to me. Vanir - the 'full enchilada' CMBN bundle comes with specific instructions on the order to install everything, then you activate it all at once. 1.11 gets in there before 2.0, so hopefully that's not it. I'll post some details and maybe some screens and we will see.

I'm having some minor graphical issues, like weird shadows abruptly fading in and out, and a couple other things that caused some doubt that the 2.0 engine upgrade took effect, although the game menu says 2.12 - I need to go back and look at the demo for reference. I have been so wrapped up in playing that I haven't done anything about it, but I would like to get some experts to weigh in and hopefully find a solution. Is that type of post acceptable to put in the tech problems forum? Once again thanks for welcoming me, I am excited to participate in what looks like a very strong community and to learn the ropes of this great platform. - Matt

Thanks. And just to be clear, with the 2.0 update to CMBN the graphical engines are functionally the same in-game, with the exception of some UI aesthetic type differences?

Another quick question - does anyone know if the discount packages just offered for the BN series are a Christmas special or will they be sticking around permanently? That could influence my decision.

I've seen the Christmas teaser about an East Front game, and I've seen forum posts by fans indicating that Black Sea will be an expansion module, but I haven't seen an official announcement of where the series is going. Can someone direct me to the relevant thread/news post from the Battlefront people? Thank you.
