Usually as a rule you don't release anything right after Christmas because people would have spent too much money already during the holidays. You try to get a release before or during the holidays.
This is very true, and the only reason there is a "minimal casualties/max protection" mentality developed in recent years is because of low intensity conflicts. We haven't had a good 'ol fashioned high intensity conventional war in modern times yet.
Right, that makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Kinda too bad though, I was hoping they would stay even after becoming KIA/WIA, just mark them as dead or incapacitated. Oh well, thanks again.
User Interface
•Three different sets of camera controls; Standard (traditional), First Person Shooter, and Real Time Strategy
•Optional graphical Command and Control link tracing
•KIAs are shown in the Soldier/Crew Panels to track soldiers lost during the game
•Option to disable music separate from other game sounds

1. Smarter AI when breaching buildings (maybe a breach/clear order)
2. A supress area command in order for units to supress a larger area. (similar to target arc except the command would order the units to begin firing on the selected area)
Ive had this issue many times. I found that it was caused by a corrupted saved game file. I just delete the most recent save that I did and reload the one prior. It should resolve the issue of crashing
