Thanks Hubert. This is my first SC2 game. I really like it! I elected not to try this game a long time ago due to the tiles (not hexes). I regret that now, but I still prefer hexes. But I can see why you needed tiles for it too work. Anyway looking forward to SC3 with hexes
Not having much luck. I updated my Adapter driver and Display driver. Turned off CMAA and still no improvement. It's late now so I will look at your links tomorrow. Thanks very much for your help sir.
Ok I fixed up my laptop with your suggestion. It has Nvidia Graphics. But my new desktop PC is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. It says I have a Intel HD Graphics 4600 Adapter. I went in to the control panel for this device and I can't find any such FXAA setting? I saw a setting for 'Clear Text'. Not sure what that is. Any help would be welcomed.
I am new to CMBfN. Great game but why is the in game text so hard to read? It seems to blur or become blocky. I play a lot of PC games and have not encountered this before. Are my monitor settings wrong? Is there a fix for this?
I haven't had a CD install for years now. So no CD's. All are DD. I am semi PC literate so I can usually get thru these issues. But I know at least 2 friends who bought CMBfN and never got to play it as they could not get it to run as the AV stopped it dead. And support was not very helpful.
I agree they should probably become more knowledgeable about their PC's but I am still curious as too what makes CMBfN so prone to these problems.
Just curious, but I have many PC games I play. Yet CMBN is the only one I have had trouble with in regards to my AV getting angry with.
What is it about CMBN that is different to all the other games I have played?
