  1. Benvenuti in Italia, amico mio! Godetevi la vostra visita. 😲
  2. @slippy - Consider checking out some of the links at FGM's CM2 Scenario Design Section Two sub-forums touching on your topics of interest are SCENARIO DESIGNER’S WORKSHOP – Orders of Battle / Tables Of Equipment & Organization and SCENARIO DESIGNER’S WORKSHOP – Making Maps. Good hunting!
  3. Well, I suspect Combat Mission players are not anyone's average war-gamers . . . 😀 These games are an acquired taste for those interested in some kind of game-play tactical realism. Battlefront supplies its high potency designer drugs to a niche audience. As CMx2 is probably coming to the end of its software application life-cycle, I predict the first CMx3 title will be North Afrika sometime after 2023. 😶
  4. As @PIATpunk already mentioned, The Few Good Men merits your serious consideration for H2H / PBEM matches. There are many other European members there. FGM members are happy to nurture new players into veteran ones. CMBN is a staple for game play both scenario's and Quick Battles. You would find yourself most welcome there. 😎
  5. Check out the CM2 WW2 forums at The Few Good Men - https://www.thefewgoodmen.com/thefgmforum/
  6. @Bootie - bump for above for your follow-up with @GhostRider3/3
  7. Kudos on developing new scenario's. Consider posting to The Scenario Depot III.
  8. Any chance we'll see "Drop Team"?
  9. Actually, that's what happened to my oppo, @Doug Williams, in our own H2H playtest. As my airborne units maneuvered to place heavy suppression fires upon located German defenders, all of his suppressed or panicked units evaded out of cover towards the Americans where they were cut down even further in multiple cross-fires. The German player surrendered after 30 minutes into the match because "evading towards the enemy" made the game unplayable for him. I intend to provide the designer an AAR before the end of June. It's a shame that a very well conceived situation suffers unduly from this new patch's questionable behavior.
  10. Question: Is the new "evade towards the enemy" behavior a bug that will be addressed by these patches coming soon too? Or has this been addressed in a different thread? Thank you.
  11. @Holdit FYI - @Doug Williams and I are testing this H2H. We're ten minutes into it after a week of play. Interesting game of cat and mouse so far. Good ASL map adaptation.
  12. While I can't speak to the Asus PQ321Q, for what it's worth, I purchased the ASUS VS278Q-P 27" Full HD 1920x1080 1ms DisplayPort HDMI VGA Monitor four years ago. I use it several hours every day. It still works as well as advertised and I am very happy with it.
  13. Tres bien! Please consider uploading to CMMODSIII
  14. No. 😯 I lack your extensive scenario design experience and cannot provide effective leadership. 😞 I am willing to continue helping with maps even though it's been almost two years since doing Luneville. 😲
  15. @Ithikial_AU - Yep, I've been wondering when we can get back to this. You know where to find me when you do . . . 😶
  16. It's all about "branding" and marketing . . . 😀
  17. Article I, Section 8, Clause 11 of the U.S. Constitution grants Congress the power to declare war. [The Congress shall have Power...] To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water; The President, meanwhile, derives the power to direct the military after a Congressional declaration of war from Article II, Section 2, which names the President Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. However, as the Commander in Chief of the armed forces, Presidents have sent troops to battle without an official war declaration.
  18. Thanks @John Kettler. It seems one must be a Facebook member (which I am not) to display images from the link you provided. 😥
  19. @Ivanov - Thank you. I didn't realize there was an already existent European Defense Agency. It seems that this is the group which would formulate and disseminate the training priorities and tactical doctrines for EU army units. Correct?
  20. Yes, the editor view and then the consequences. I don't own Black Sea and wasn't aware of that thread. I will check it out. Thank you.
  21. No, by training to a common standard so that all units integrate smoothly on the battlefield. The question doesn't ask "what". It asks "who" establishes a non-NATO EU army force training in a world where each separate country establishes its own national doctrine especially after Brexit. France, Belgium, Germany, Norway, Denmark? I'm asking what's the mechanism whereby a EU army agrees upon defined threat assessments and establishes the training doctrine to fight such wars.
  22. Who would establish the common doctrine for a non-NATO EU army force? How would such forces coordinate operations above Corps level and/or insure common understanding of tactical doctrine by different national small units within a corps?
  23. I would greatly appreciate a graphic description of an AI plan posted in a thread like this; what to choose, how it works, what it does. I know I can crack open an existing scenario and look at one but I just can't seem to wrap my head around what to script for a particular result. I suspect this is a big ask but thanks for considering it kindly. Kudos for designing scenario's. I hope it goes well. Good luck.
