  2. I've had real problem's firing most ATGM in buildings, the large amount of suppression they receive seems to mean they 'guide' poorly and usually miss. Even the ones like AT-7 which supposedly only have a small amount of suppression still often miss for me if fired from inside.
  3. There's a list of them also on page 139 of the BS manual. The same vehicle sometimes have differing ones depending on the options taken @ purchase eg BMP-3's can be ERA or SHOTRA equipped, or just plain.
  4. Yes 2's not a lot but if you have SU-76M's in a fight , you tend to have a lot of them so can put up a semi-useful near-immediate smokescreen for you.
  5. Feel a small correction needed to the above; most soviet artillery of below 122mm in RT can fire smoke. No soviet armour, other than the SU-76M can fire smoke.
  6. Well seeing as the majority seem convinced there is a issue with morale; can we narrow it down some? Is it a problem only when under artillery fire or is it also occurring by direct fire? Is the effect there with small arms or is it just he-type weapons? Is it fortification-specific or is it happening in anywhere eg. forest's and houses.
  7. The BMP-3M can have laser warning receiver on the shotra version but no other BMP's or BTR's have it.
  8. I'm not convinced all of these behaviours people are seeing are new; I'm still running 1.04 without the v4 upgrade. I have certainly had troops take a morale hit because a team was killed nearby as I have had armour get 'rattled' if 3/4 of the platoon is lost in a round. From what folk are reporting It seems under arty there may be problem with them too willingly abandoning fortifications, but other then that I have a suspicion the rest is phantom.
  9. Don't forget there are 2 'pause' buttons to confuse matters further: 1. Pause button immediately below 'action screen', part of a group of 3 pause/cancel/evade; this 'pause' button will ONLY do a permanent pause. 2.Pause button that is integrated in the order/movement subpanel in special action; this 'pause' button will do the variable timings on multiple presses.
  10. I assume the battle pack requires the new v4 patch also? Haven't got this yet as it seems to have a few bugs re dug-in troops and I was also a bit miffed that 'engine' update didn't mean multi-thread support or dumping openGL.
  11. You seem genuine enough to me; sometimes many English speaking westerner's forget that it not everybody's first language and it's easy for a non-native speaker to come across as abrupt or even rude.
  12. Sometimes such a shame that every one is on such high-alert for trolls; the internet is a funny place. I must say that in my experience this forum has very few 'troll problems' compared with a great many other sites I visit.
  13. Back OT I don't tend to use my ptrd for suppression or anti-infantry work; they only have 20 rounds and I like to keep it all handy in case some of those nasty cannon armed half-tracks show up, or if a stug or light tank shows me it's backside.
  14. Well in my experience A.I. will specifically target mg's and other assets with mortars and does so to me regularly, twice in my last game. I'm fairly sure it wasn't pre-planned fire of any kind and was specifically targeting assets which had only recently deployed in those locations and started to give trouble.
  15. There was a beauty to CM:BB play almost any front with most of the minor nations/forces represented, in fact I think all that was missing was 'partisans'. Loved giving the Russians a defeat as the Finnish with their rubbish kit and the plethora of Russian light tanks to play with, happy days.
  16. Looking at the lack of vision slots on the BMP I think we have to hunt Kieme down and get him to update the textures on the models they changed in v1.04
  17. Unless I'm missing something there are NO 'mine roller' T-34's or any other vehicle with the ability in RT.
  18. So am I understanding this right; 1.04 removed breach kits and only way to get them back is to pay to upgrade to 4? I don't really understand how upgrade 4 is a 'engine' upgrade, it seems like a patch to me; there's no new graphic engine and no multi-thread support. Seems like just a couple of new actions for troops and some extra AI plans, am I being unrealistic expecting more from a payed 'upgrade' ?
  19. That's the thing I really love about BS it's so deadly: it can all be going your way , then BOOM 2 lucky rpg shots kill half your infantry
  20. Would that be all Panthers Bulletpoint or just specific models? Would that transfer across titles is what I'm thinking CM:RT and CM:FI etc.

  22. John; I was under the impression that spotting was determined from the 'drivers' position and that mast/turret sight systems didn't work, has that changed. I seem to recall being unable to spot with Shturm-s whilst hull-down?
  23. I haven't played with enough variety of ATGM to fully figure things, but my 1st hit accuracy seems better if target is 1km+ away.
  24. Thanks for doing this, big fan of your writing/presenting style ; enjoy the vids but always seem to glean more tactics from the written word. Keep up the good work.
  25. I thought they swung their turret to face the laser direction, does this not give enough of a hint for target direction; or would you like a separate UI element indicator?
