    Special request:
Can the new CMRT Fire and Rubble module include the already modelled axis vehicles from CMFI's earlier July 1943 timeframe?
Just sweep them in as purchasable single vehicles, set the rarity as you deem appropriate. No TOE  concerns.
I am thinking of the Panzer III's (Ausf M and N) but there might be a few others. Krupp Protze also.
    Please

This has been racking my brain a bit...
Partial quote from initial post by Steve:

"The inevitable question is… when will it be ready?  Winter 2020 is as specific as I think I can be at this point.  That’s only a few months and it seems about right for what remains."
Winter 2020 to me is like saying the Battle of the Bulge happened in Winter 1944. It means that Fire and Rubble gets released at the end of 2020?
I request a more specific answer!
    Some suitable answers would be:
    1. By the time I get home from work on the day after my first master's degree term is over...say 1730 CST on 3 March 2020. That would be most lovely.
But I can hang for an extra week so the Schwimmwagen looks DoublePlusGood.

    Hi Phil
I made this mod for the Stalingrad mod set. It is a StuG IIIG early where I removed the most of the barrel with alpha channels. It should be part of the Stalingrad mod set.
Dont know if you can use that?
    Cheers

    Here´s the release video:

For early war German infantry, I use Sicher units and give each platoon 3 MG34s. Like you said, still can't get rid of the PFs, though. The Soviets are harder, since the only way to get rid of the high mid/late war SMG count is to go with 43 divisional recon, add LMGs as needed and use more of them to make up for the 6-man squads.
I'd sure LOVE to see a 2-man vanilla rifle team unit added to the specialist team menu for each faction. Then, you could fill in the riflemen where you need them.

Not to worry. RL stuff has kept Ian and I busy but we are slowly exchanging turns and will resume.:)
But I’m glad you like these little vignettes too!

    Hey fellas,
@Bulletpoint Thanks for the feedback but I don't plan to change anything. The trenches themselves are already kind of oddly modeled (I am sure BFC has reasons for this limitation) as opposed to something that provides full protection of a standing soldier. Your troops end up crouching down when they fire.
Here in the next few days, I am starting up a CMRT Winter Mod PBEM battle against @Heinrich505 ...after I upgrade to 4.0

Any mod that tweaks the strings.txt file is the mostly likely culprit. Do you have Vin's animated text mod? If so remove just that one.

It might be more convenient to download the 'FULL' installer. This will have the latest patch. That might be true of the 'Update' installer, but I'm not certain. With the FULL installer you'll want to backup any in-progress games, mods, non-standard scenarios and campaigns and then delete the installation and then run the FULL installer.
The 'Update' installer should work with what you have installed currently (no need to remove the current installation - in fact you shouldn't for this installer). However I'm uncertain if it is the latest. I assume that it is, but I didn't install it, so I don't really know.
Not sure about the CM Helper version or the other alternatives to it.

This prompts me to do a bit a bit of "agitprop" for Philip Kerr´s Berlin Noir novels, in case you´re not already aware of them. A brilliant series about a detective in Berlin in the thirties, forties and fifties. Incredibly well written and researched. Sadly, Kerr died last year, so there will be no more stories about Bernie Günther.
