  1. Yes, map creation for TOW is not an easy work. But you have special mapeditor program with the game (try to use file \\ToWKorea\Builder.exe). And short instructions are in the file \\ToWKorea\Map Editor Manual.mht. Also you should use any graphical editors for textures.

  3. Hello, Tartari! May you help me with new infantry arm adding to TOW3? I tried to add "Johnson_M1941" machine gun from TOW2-Afrika 'balance mod" to TOW3-Korea. When choosing the units for battle it worked but if I started the game it always had crashed. Can you look at my files and find what is wrong? And I didn't fined "data\local\folder' in TOW3-Korea. So I can't add new detachment unit with new weapons and the perfect name for new gun. Folders with "Johnson_M1941" files are in zip-archive. Downloading reference will be workable for a four months.   4. There is a question from Russian TOW community. Has anybody extracted folders with all Sherman's, Slugger's, Greyhound’s and Chaffee's model files from Korea sfs-files?
  5. No, the mission is quiet normal as for me. Earlier I mean if the Germans have won then the mission should bee ended by the "defeat for player" script. The Churchill IV was in TOW-2 Africa. May be it was in the Balance mode... As for me the most difference is in armour thickness - the Churchill IV has more thin armour than The Churchill VII.
  6. Here it is what I have found: See reference P.S. Some additional information from wikipedia P.P.S. JOHN SANDARS in his "THE SHERMAN TANK in British Service 1942-45" book had written that British army didn't use Sherman IB (M4(105)) in North West Europe.
  7. I've updated the map archive at the Repository by including the folder "\maps\_SpeedTree\Kursk_wood\" with necessary files from TOW-2 Kursk'1943. I think now the work have been completed.
  8. Hello, Tartari! If you want you may use two files from my "kursk_mp_map_03_User" map made for TOW-3 Korea'1950. These files are pathfindcells.tga and typesai.tga. In map from TOW-2 Kursk'1943 these files are almost blank because of multiplayer fan gameplay as I'm thinking.
  9. I don't know what I could think about crashes. As for me the map works well with Korea mission generator. And you are right the map "kursk_mp_map_03_User" is based on additional multiplayer game map "kursk_mp_map_03" from TOW-2 Kursk'1943. P.S. I understand why you game was crashed during loading. It seems that you need to copy folder Kursk_wood from "\\TOW2_Kursk1943\Maps\_SpeedTree\" to folder "\\ToWKorea\Maps\_SpeedTree\". Thanks for bug report.
  10. Here it is a file with Russian names and texts for new Sherman 105mm, Churchill AVRE and 2pdr AT gun, all made by Arzok. I've made some changes: it seems that M4 Sherman with 105mm howitzer Americans named M4(105) and British named Cruiser Tank Sherman IB (another modification with 105mm M4A3(105) never be in British army). And some questions about Churchill AVRE: in reality they were produced from Churchill III and IV tanks, but now in the mod it is like Churchill VII with more heavily armour. And it seems that Petard in the mod has range about 300 m when everywhere is written that the range was about 80-100 m. In all cases thanks for the interesting work.   11. And some more... Also some words about mission. The AI Germans were wining the game and had captured both Churchill AVRE. One was damaged and couldn't move, but another one had escaped. So the mission didn’t finished by my defeat and was go on and go on.
  12. I had tried to play mission "Save Petard" and find some graphics anomalies. May be it's some bugs.
  13. Yes, I do it! Now I have the all texts and names in my TOW2-Kursk+Caen game. I would try to translate texts for Churchill AVRE and Sherman 105 and upload these files to Internet.

  15. I have found SFSExtractor.306.368 for TOW2-Afrika on my HDD. So it could be used for Kursk+Caen but I haven't filelist.txt for Kursk/Kursk+Caen...
