  1. Hello, I usually play on Win PC but it just broke down . I can't wait for the repair, I need to play my pbem this weekend ! Do I have the possibility and the right to reinstall CMBN on my Macbook ? Is it possible or do I need to purchase a new licence ? Thank you
  2. Hello ,all is working fine for me and Schwimwagen is cool (but where is the bren tripod?) I just didn't now how to use the new pbem process...
  3. Hi there. I have been a CMx1 player since CMBO beta and have all CMx2 WW2 titles. This thread is exciting and a lot of the arguments are very interesting. But I wonder if there is not sometimes an ethnocentric tropism in many of the analyzes presented. Let me share with you, not a structured argumentation, but just some thoughts from a guy who is far to be an expert. Among the western allies, and unlike the Americans and the British, the German (WW2) and French (WW1) people know the price to pay for a war on their territory. Perhaps this difference explains a certain caution on the part of France and Germany to commit themselves too far in aid to Ukraine. When President Macron said that we should not humiliate Russia, we can see here an admission of weakness but we must not forget that for many Europeans the 2nd World War is partly the fruit of humiliation « diktat » of Versailles treaty of 1919. These people know that humiliate an adversary is also to take the risk that he capitalizes on resentment and a desire for revenge. A Russian friend from Moscow told me that they (the Russians) were ready to fight to the last Siberian… From the point of view of western military logic (the 10 points developed by Steve), the Russians have already lost the war. But, this is only a western reading grid. Is there a Russian reading grid that would be different ? (For example, I have the impression that losses are hardly a factor to take into account for the Russians. See previous thought). Thank you.
  4. We are not talking about chatting but just share some vision or roadmap...
  5. Just my 2 cents... On the french CM fan-site "Appui-Feu" (founded 17 years ago!), we recently have the same discussion... The CM Module/patch system is quite confusing for non english speakers and many players feel quite frustrated about Battlefront lack of communication.
  6. I'm may be dumb but i wasn't able to reproduce what you describe... But, I discovered that if you give a targer order to a mortar during the setup phase. This order remains until you cancel it and even if the mortar has moved. Then you can hit something you don't see. Is this the same bug?
  7. From the old good days of CMBB, the infantry units were able to use ATG or Cocktail Molotov or AT mines. Is there any similar stuff in CMRT? I saw that te soviet AT Team have grenades. Are they generic grenade? Thank you
  8. Hello, I was playing "Blood river" or somethink against AI and I saw two stranges things... unit can go, hide and fire underwater and my SPW directly teleport itself to the way point I was ploting... Sorry, no save file, I'm a lazy boy
  9. Thank you BFC for these great piece of software Just a little question but it's may be a subject you know. I made some quick test with the german ig18 infantry gun. It seems to me this gun is a howitzer but it seems it always act like a gun. I mean the shell don't have a bell curve trajectory. With this minor restriction the gun is quite less effective no?
  10. In CMBN, german tanks engage enemy tanks while moving. Is it historically correct?
  11. 11 Kts from schw. PanzerAbteilung 503 were engaged in Mantes area from august 21st to the end of the month. I have an interesting book of a local historian(Bruno Renoult - La tête de pont de Mantes) with several accounts of fighting between KTs, Luftwaffe land units and US units (813 th TD and 313/314 inf regt from the 79th inf Div). These german units were not disorganised retreating units. They have the mission to brake the US bridgehead over the Seine river... After heavy loss during "Goodwood", pzAbt 503 was reformed at Mailly-le-camp with 14 Kts before reaching Mantes area. Sorry for my rotten english:)
  12. Hi, I'm lurkering this forum for a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time. This new opus of CM seems very interesting. I don't know if it is in the scope of the game but during the Seine river crossing (Aug 1944) there was some battle between US td and King tigers in the Vexin area. I can post more informative sources if it helps.
