    It will get there, I know you are on it. Your standards are very high for your own work.
    Now me, I admit I often shove out stuff that I clearly see as improvable but just want to make the sandwich and put it on a plate for people to eat.

    The rule I (knew I was) am breaking in the Crete Mod. And every other one I ever attempted, lol! But at least Crete is getting near the finish line. Your Afrika Mod is coming along nicely!

    The Tunisian Mod… didn’t YOU make that one, Phil?  IIRC, it was based on the Kasserine Pass. I have it, but not near my comp atm or I would check it myself.

    You guys have heard of the editor, right? Best sandbox out there.  If you can’t change the game’s length in less than 30 seconds, you probably shouldn’t own a computer, lol!  But beware, cuz Erwin is spot on regarding time limits.

    It sounds like the drop shadows are on their own layer rather than on the layer the gear  that you want to hide is on. I use Corel Paintshop Pro so if you are using Gimp or Photoshop I can’t vouch for this solution, which is to simply collapse/merge the drop shadow layer  with the piece of gear layer. Hope that is clear enough…and that it works!

    Phil is being a gentleman, as usual. It’s being delayed by me, I’m afraid. I bit off more than I should have considering a number of life factors. Plus my own mission creep. But in a week or 10 days, I’ll wrap up the uniforms.

    This is a Blender modded PzIVE with custom jerrycan rack made in Tripoli and then some GiMP texture modding to the stub barrel and the vehicle markings: Balkenkreuz, "DAK" palm and "808"

    I used colorize on Italians with Hue-Saturation (Yellow) Lightness+21, Saturation +54. Hue-Saturation (Green) Saturation -66. White layer softlight mode 57% opacity.

    Trying to make these guys. Looking for the Pith helmet in a FREE stl file I can use Blender on.

    Neither is it determined by being the most persistent and vocal person in the debate.  One of the people with whom you are disagreeing @Ultradaveis or was responsible for the planning and execution of indirect fires as a profession.  You, on the other hand, appear to lack the same credentials, so guess who is more likely to be believed.

    Welcome!
    Not really easy to do, LutzP.  You can Target Smoke, put a Pause Command for say 15 seconds or whatever, then put a short Movement order, like 1 Action Square or whatever, then on that Waypoint, use another Target Command. Play around with the Pause timing and number of Movement Orders to figure what works best for that vehicle to get X number of smoke shells. With on map mortars you can Target Light and they usually pump out 3 shells per minute.  (Unit soft factors will affect all this to some degree.)

    CMFI Map Pack 1 - thanks for the encouragement of my friends on the BF forum.
    Map packs contains 120 maps, based on 40 different areas of terrain, with an Assault, Attack and Probe for each map. Each map has unique setup zones and objectives. Each map has four defender AI plans and one attacker AI plan, so you can play as defender, and play and re-play as attacker.
    Attacker AI plans are based on my own attacking strategy when I played the map, so they work OK. Defender AI plans are quite mixed - at least one defender plan in each map will contain some sort of spoiling attack or counter-attack, sometimes quite an aggressive one! I hope it keeps you on your toes...
    (More to come - I started with the maps already closest to completion)
