Siberian Troops
Chargin Smith replied to Pacestick's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
Pacestick, when Rommel arrives in the desert, things will happen more quickly on both fronts! -
Operational movement
Chargin Smith replied to woverby1963's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
woverby, be careful about cutting rail lines, you may need them later! -
Also, these problems can be caused by video/sound drivers needing to be updated.

I sort of lost interest in this game--not saying it's a bad game, because it's not. Is the latest patch a significan improvement?

Michael, thanks for the response! -
Interface Question
Chargin Smith replied to Panzerpionier's topic in Strategic Command - PACIFIC THEATER
You can always see the "colors" around the MPP numbers for axis and allies displayed on the map as well. -
CSS, did you get your issue resolved?

PowerGmbH's World in Flames Mod
Chargin Smith replied to SeaMonkey's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
I'm enjoying this campaign! I did notice that the US MPP's slow down significantly as you approach 1942? -
If you want more German Para, you can always mode them in via the editor.

Can't move fighters from US
Chargin Smith replied to Mantiss's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
You need enough MPP's to move to UK and other areas. I've never had a problem with moving to UK. Not sure about other UK controlled areas. -
Hey guy's, the reality is that sometimes the modding is as much fun as playing the game! Especially after you build and play the Mod! Just saying!

CMBB display issue in Windows 7
Chargin Smith replied to Paulverisor64's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Is anyone running this game on a high end computer using Windows 7 without any issues? -
operational move bug
Chargin Smith replied to david12345's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
Yes, right now the land arrows not working in US really makes it diffcult for my strategies. I have to board units on the east coast, secure the panama canal, and then get on the red arrows to the pacific! Sometimes, that's a real fight! -
Snowing in Australia
Chargin Smith replied to david12345's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
I would not change the weather zone in Australia in the patch. The current weather zone presents an additional challenge with movement etc. that enhances the game strategy! Just saying! -
What game? You need to check if the build feature is available in the demo. Also, you need a secure industrial base to produce units as well as enough MPP's.

Firepower, movement and strategy is the name of this game! You set your "armies" up with HQ, Anti-Air, Engineer, Tanks and Infantry, get them more experience, then you have a shot at success! The amphibious attack mode is really different. I am trying to strategize this new concept!

WWII: The Struggle for Europe & Asia

I played dozens of board games. I think the computer and game consoles really hurt that industry. I am sure there are still board die hards! -
SS Pz Gr Div Totenkopf March 1943
Chargin Smith replied to Der Alte Fritz's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
Actually, you answered my questions and I appreciate it. The unit strength to me meant modding weapons effects such as increasing range, hit value, hard and soft defense values similar to Battlefronts SC2 edit capability. -
operational move bug
Chargin Smith replied to david12345's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
The red arrows on land from US East to US West are not working proprly. The sea arrows work properly. I think Hubert has this on his list for the patch. -
Snowing in Australia
Chargin Smith replied to david12345's topic in Strategic Command - GLOBAL CONFLICT
In Australia, snow can fall in the mountains of Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Tasmania. There is a regular snow season in several areas which have seasonal ski tourism industries. Sometimes snow has even been reported in the mountains of South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland though this is very rare. Snow at sea level has been recorded on mainland Australia but has happened more times in Tasmania, some of the snow at sea level has fallen in the off season like summer. Snow has fallen nearly everywhere in Tasmania, though it is rare to fall in the north coast at sea level. -
CSS, I'm curious as to why these rules enhance the game? Is this unique to your group? The basic rules of the game already make it challenging. I may try this anyway.
