Why can't I license this game? I got a new computer and the thing won't recognize my license key. I can't get through to helpdesk because Verizon won't recognize the message. Offline licensing won't recognize my key. I going nuts here.:mad:

I guess I'm going to go with the RAM boost and tweaks for now. A new system is the logical choice but my Finance Minister would flip her whig.

I had done some of that from reading your reply in another thread, except for the adware part. I use Spybot, how's that? I set my virtual memory to 4ooo/4000, that's the tops allowed. Ran the game, still a bit jerky but a little better. Cameras run great on pause, it would be nice to see that when running. Would getting another .5 G Ram do anything?

Nope, just 1GB and the mobo supports up to only 1.5Gb. It's an old cheaper system. To upgrade to a not too expensive system, what would be the recommended specs.

O.K. I downloaded the ueberpatch and my game does not freeze. However, now when a battle becomes involved with many characters the scolling becomes "herky jerky", the screen jumps all oer' the place. That's with mouse scroll to the borders and with the center wheel. I have a GeForce 7300 GT vc with 512MB mem and plenty of space on the HD. I do have a ~2.1 GHz cpu which is at the minimum required. Drivers are up to date.

I just purchased the game last night- download. The version is 1.2.0.46. Is this the latest? The game froze up on me, first during the tutorial and then during loading the tutorial. No crash, it just stopped running. I have an Athlon xp 2600, ~2.1 , GeForce 7300 Gt with 512mb, 1G ram, and plenty of space on hard drive. Would installing Windows Media Video9 VCM have anything to do conflicts?:eek:
