  1. Hi! Major H., are you still planning to develop and release a new civil version of TacOps? >> Johannes <<
  2. Actually I could verify with satellites later that the impacts had effect.
  3. I've never used nukes before this version, but out of 4 ICBM's the last two didn't cause any damage at all! They were carefully targeted to cities with lots of improvements and units inside and the animation was smooth. However, the city didn't reduce in size, nor were the units destroyed. The only difference to the earlier two successful shots is that these two were launched from a transport ship (one at sea, one docked).
  4. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on my Lenovo x200 laptop and the full game runs mostly fine. I installed it with admin rights and changed the desktop shortcut to admin privs and the game is ok. I have seen some weird behavior a couple of times (e.g. map disappeared and replaced with my desktop view and loading game miniwindow not going away when game loaded) but otherwise it has worked ok so far. >> Dzeijay <<
  5. Thank you for the latest improvements! They're really appreciated. Centering works fine, but that zooming-hotkey does only the same as the zoom button in the left pane. I would love to have two buttons doing exactly the same as mouse wheel up&down. Adjusting zoom level from preferences all the time is a bit cumbersome. The game also starts with zoom-level 50% and for a newcomer it can take some time to figure out how to zoom in to even see what's in there =). Hotkey+mouse panning is great! >> Dzeijay<<
  6. 1) A hotkey that centers the screen on current unit (if that doesn't exists already). That would lessen the need to scroll around. 2) A hotkey for zoom-in/zoom-out. Laptops seldom have the mouse 'wheel' and the zoom functionaly in the menu seems only to zoom-out (and then back to normal). 3) Please add 'Finland' and the Finnish flag to the list of opponents. Btw, awesome game! Except that it makes you sleep less >> Dzeijay <<
  7. Hi! Thank you for an awesome game of modern warfare. I still believe it is one of the most comprehensive and realistic models of this very difficult topic. It is much easier to simulate World War I/II or ancient battles than try to make a plausible presentation of today's weapons. Therefore I'm interested to hear if you are going to develop the game further still or is there anyone else going to do that in the future? Another quick question. Is it possible to make the message window larger in the bottom part of the screen? It is too easy to miss important messages there. Thank you! Johannes
