  1. That would work as well. You should not have to keep the city completely encircled with units just to maintan control. I think the map edge would be more fair. It would give the axis player at least a chance to counter the incoming reinforcements.
  2. Thanks Hubert. Gotta love the support from Battlefront. Simply amazing!!!!
  3. While playing axis of evil as axis I invaded the Philippines. The computer a.i. had a unit on the capital and two units down south. Infantry near Davao and a tank in open terrain. During the a.i.'s next turn it moved the tank straight to the mountain and the infantry moved to occupy Davao. During my next turn I captured the capital and destroyed the unit occupying Davao. I then moved a tank unit into Davao for a little tank on tank action and much to my suprise I wasn't able to attack the tank sitting on the mountain. The interface acted like the tank was on a seperate island not connected to Davao, yet the allied tank clearly drove in one turn from the mainland onto the mountain. Also the port stayed under allied control. I was only able to attack using aircraft and ships. Once I destroyed the tank, I still could not move from Daveo to the mountain as the "land" remained under allied control. I had to amphid a unit onto the mountain to gain control of it and the port. Once this was done I could then FREELY move back and forth from Davao and the mountain like it was connected to the mainland. Sorry for the long rant but I don't have a save game to send you and I figured the more info I give the better for you to try and sort it out.
  4. I guess you could "redirect" the incoming reinforcements from the West to a city on the East coast that was still under allied control. If all cities were occupied by the axis I'm not sure how that would work. What does happen if reinforcements were coming to a city and it gets captured, are they stuck in "limbo" until a slot opens up?
  5. File sent. Thanks again for a great game and great support. I think I know what's happening after running the turn with FOW off. The A.I. is placing units on the loop arrows on the West coast and "transporting" in. I believe once a city has been captured those loop arrows should be turned off. This is a similiar issue to the complaints in the PACIFIC expansion once Hawaii was captured by the axis and allied ships were "looping in" to Hawaii.
  6. Hubert I captured Washington in the USA as the axis (Axis of Evil) and the capital then transferred to Chicago. I then captured Chicago. However, the A.I. on it's next 5 turns keep placing new units around Chicago liked it still owned Chicago. I then surrounded the city with units and anywhere I left open the A.I. would place a new unit on its next turn. I even then moved off the city and the next turn the A.I. placed a new unit in the city recapturing it. I have a saved turn but I do not know how to send it to you.
  7. I actually just opened another window on the internet and completed the "off-license method" and it worked. It was not a typing error because I copied and pasted the number from my e-mail numerous times. Also I tried something curious and just typed 123 in the license code and got the same results, a locked up dialog box. I even deleted the download and redownloaded the game three seperate times in case I got a corrupt file, but I always ended up with the same problem. I am still not sure if this is a problem on my end or a bug of some sort. I am also still puzzled as to why I can unlicense and relicense Weapons and Warfare and other modules without a hitch but not Global? Anyway Hubert, Moon, Martin and everybody else thank you for you help. I've got some catching up to do.
  8. Hubert, Moon anybody help! I have all the SC games so this is not the first time I've used elicense. I uninstalled my antivirus and antispyware. I have deleted and reinstalled the download (game) three times in case I had a corrupt file and I get the same error/problem. Everything is fine until after I click the "install license button", I see a message that say "Internet connection o.k." and "retrieving license" and then nothing. The open dialog box just freezes. When I click anywhere I get the error message that the program is not responding. Just to see if it was my computer I uninstalled WoW and relicensed it no problem so the only thing it can be is the license key. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help, I'm dying to play the game.
  9. Xwormwood, I do apologize, I missed it some how. Must be lack of sleep from playing this game till 2a.m. every night.
  10. Sorry, I looked, but did not find this mentioned in the other posts. I would think that Hubert could rework the code in the next patch so as to disable the shortcut if Hawaii is under Axis control.
  11. I don't think it is correct for the American player/A.I. to be able to "warp in" his ships to Pearl Harbor when it is under Japanese control. I have total control of Pearl, yet the A.I. is constantly sending ships by the "shortcut". This allows a free attack and then the ability to run away unopposed. I have a Picket line of ships off the east coast of Hawaii but the American ships appear behind me.
