  1. well I just repeatly tested the same situation many times, the Warrior against BMP1,and I choose the syria so that I can see the casulty of the crew,before the battle I press the hide key,the result is:most of the time the BMP1 can take at least 10 hit with no or 1 casulty and some equitment are lightly demage,in one test ,the BMP take 25 hit got only 1 crew WIA.Occationly just 2-3 rounds can Knock out the BMP(just Occationly),In addition I found that most of the rounds from the Warrior hit the hull front of the BMP,however after a few hits,the engine is still a big green cross

Hey steve: I have read some articles which said that just a few 25mm or 30mm APDS rounds(about 3-5 rounds) can easily knock out the light armored target just like the BMPs,and I also saw a video in which a LAV25 be hit by a friendly LAV25,just 3 rounds,it begin to burn.however in the CMSF, these small guns are not that effective,for example,during some fights,after fire more than a dozen of APDS or APFSDS rounds to the BMPs from my warriors or Bradleys,the target still alive,then return fire with his ATGM.as far as I am concerned,the BMP1 and BMP2 has a very small turret compare to their western counterparts,If some rounds(especially the DU rounds) hit the turret,the crew in the turret almost can't survive,then it become a dead meat.In the CMAK and CMBB, in close range,when a M4 76 sherman meets with a panther face by face,the AI will delibrately fire the APCBC to the panther's turret,because that is only place that the 76 rounds can penetrate,then my question:Is this feature exist in CMSF?the AI will delibrately fire the rounds to the weak point of targer?and how CMSF programme the aftereffect of the small rounds?
  3. 1.My computer is 17''LCD(aspect ratio is 5:4),so if I play the CMSF with 1024x768(4:3),will the screen be distorted?I try the 1024X768 and measured the wheel of some vehicle such as the stryker,it seems the CMSF can auto regulate the aspect ratio so that the screen is not be distorted,Is that true? 2.My laptop is 14''LCD(16:9),when I play the game with 1366X768(16:9),1280X960(4:3),1152X864(4:3),the screen is good ,nothing be distorted,but when I used the 1024X768(4:3),the screen is significantly be distorted(it seem that with the 1024X768,CMSF can not auto regulate the aspect ratio to 16:9) this make me very confused ,so anyone know about this?
  4. It seems the tracer is a little longer(the tracer in CMBB/CMAK is just good),any hope to improve this?

  6. well,today I unconsciously open the website(http://www.cmmods.com/web/CMMods.nsf?OpenDatabase&login) which is already in my adress bar,to my surprise,I can type my ID and password then log in,I try to download something,everything on the web can be downloaded,anyone tell me why this happen?

I suppose the real issue with the area target of the air support is the scope of the area is too small,the maximum radius is just 400m,while a JTAC calling an Apache air support,it usually takes 7+mins,During the 7mins,Enemy tanks can easily get out of the killing zone and from my experiences the Apache in CMSF is sure to ignore the targets that is not in the killing zone.since sometimes you can not assume the enemy's movement,It makes the air support useless.

  10. steve I also have a problem,my pc is E6300 8600GT 2G DDR2 800,when I installed the 169.21 drive,All my games' FPS increased except the CMSF,it seems that the FPS in CMSF is very very low,then I reinstalled the 163.75,everything in CMSF are great,so why?
  11. Er,find a small bug,in 1.07,bradley use APFSDS vs bunkers,sometimes,Abrams do the same thing.
  12. My 8600GT has the same problem. When I roll back to 163 drivers,the FPS is playable.

Yes,I know the camo is right,but as I know PLA don't use that kind of helmet and they don't use the Ak 47 and Ak-74 By the way most of the PLA weapons are different from the Russian's(tank,IFV,arty and so on).In cmsf we just can reskin them,can't add or change the weapons.So personally I don't think it is a good idea to make a China mod with the syrian army [ January 21, 2008, 11:52 PM: Message edited by: Erwin.Rommel ]

  17. I recorded the sounds of mk19,M242,M256 and some other weapons from Youtube,they sounds good,I will release them later
  18. Auto cannons works fine in 1.05,bradley now use APFSDS vs Armor vehicle and BMP2 use AP but I'm afraid the T-72 use HE vs Armored target again in 1.05

As I know,most of the North Korean weapons are outdated,especially the weapons of the Army.For example the most sophisticated tanks in north korean Army are some modified T-62.Maybe they have some tough soldiers in the special force,but I don't think the North Korean has any chance to win a regular war even with the South Korean
  20. The stryker's smoke is different from the other's ,it can block the thermal sight.
