  1. I am trying to blow some life into this project because frankly I think it would add so much to the community. I've been adding stuff about CMSF and CMA to the wiki in the past month or so. I even added something from CMBS from the Alpha Peek-video. Go check it out!
  2. Hello everybody! I've bought Fortress Italy already, but I'm currently stuck in another city using mobile network (so I can't download the game just yet) and thought if there's manual somewhere online that I could read in order to pass time. I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, the said mobile network connection isn't the fastest so doing a simple forum search would take ages. I also would like to thank you guys for all the good times you've brought me. I've been a fan since Beyond Overlord (my forum account doesn't really reflect that as I've lurked a lot). Yours, Lebotus

Allright, though the thing that made me wonder is why would the gunner ever be unbuttoned during combat, because as far as I know, there's no way in CMSF to choose if it's the gunner or commander who unbuttons. It should always be the commander when you press the "unbutton"-button, so made me wonder if there was a slight design error in that.
  4. Oh yeah, it's possible on 9030 aswell, but a lot more difficult as the controls are not as intuitive as it's on gunners seat. Though the plus-side is that the commander can control the turret a bit easier even while unbuttoned, but then he cannot fully function as gunner because the commander's stick doesn't have all the buttons needed for effective gunnery.
  5. I have a question about CV9035 as it's shown in the pictures. I served as a gunner in CV9030 during my conscription time, and was baffled to see that in the beta pictures, the man sitting on gunner's position is unbuttoned. Now, I don't know if the places have been swapped in 9035 for some reason, but it looked kinda strange to me as if the gunner is unbuttoned, it's impossible to properly control the turret. Edit: Oh, and also, don't want to nitpick (which I'm going to do), but the gunner's hatch doesn't go all the way down, not atleast in cv9030

  8. This is nothing special, just a close encounter between 3-man british recce team and a syrian FO team. This time the brits drew quicker.
  9. I noticed a boost in the performance as well. The overall feel with 1.20 is very good. Great job Battlefront and all that are involved with 1.20/British Forces module!
  10. They are already advertizing this module on the banner ad space visible in atleast some parts of Battlefront's site. I was checking out the repository when I saw it.
  11. Yeah, I wondered if it would be, but decided to post it just to be safe. If it really is as it should be, forgive me my ignorance. Oh, and if it is part of the doctrine, can anyone shed some light to why it is so?

  13. Thanks guys at the battlefront (beta team included!) for providing such an excellent addition to already good game. This definately was worth the wait, and in my books it lived up to the hype. Few games have had me refresh my email account for release notification, I even installed google talk in order to receive the information instantly.
