  1. I have some issues running CMAK from time to time with Windows 10. Sometimes the screen resolution will not change and it hangs. I have to restart the computer to correct this. If I just minimize the window I don't have this issue if I am PBEM, so as not to have to keep starting the game each time. Also, sometimes once the game window is open the graphics will be glitchy. Closing the window and reopening it will cure the issue. I read this on another site at one time so it is common. Good luck and enjoy the games.
  2. Thought I would post a note here since Microsoft Security Essentials is fairly new. I am running Windows Vista 32 bit. I had a problem with CMAK not loading from the disk to the hard drive. The processor would wind up and the cd tray light would flash. The computer processor would start to bog down until you ejected the cd then all would go back to normal. Was reading on here that some virus software can cause some problems. I just installed Microsoft Security Essentials on my new hard drive and I thought maybe that is the problem. I thought I could turn it off until I loaded the game, but there is no way to turn MSE off. I went into "settings" and unchecked all three boxes and I was able to get CMAK to load. Hope this helps someone. George.
  3. Did a search but I can not find whether any newer information if CM is supported by linux/wine? Any updates to their compatibility yet?
  4. Thanks, for the help. ghcoe
  5. Thanks for the info. I am right now just able to upgrade to a newer machine. This old machine is maxed out on the video card PCI ATI 9050 series and has no Express slot at all. Barely able to afford a unit now and I have a choice of the intergraded ATI x1200 or Geforce 6100. I will have to wait to upgrade the video later. Just was wondering if it would run ToW until then. Thanks ghcoe.
  6. Looking to pick up a computer that has a X1200 onboard video card. AMD 2.3 duel processor, 2 gig ram, Vista OS. Going to be powerful enough to run ToW OK? Thanks, ghcoe.
