  1. I have been seeing a lot of posts regarding Upgrades to 7.04 while running on AMD64 systems Toby! (Repo errors) You might want to check out the ubuntuforums.org before doing anything to your /etc/apt/sources.list.
  2. Well here are my specs on vid card from Windows XP: I know, it's old! It's actually not a 9250. It's a 9200. I updated the driver and thats what I got. I just need to get a better card. Some day!
  3. Slow loading in EVERYTHING!

I Love the maps! Especially that one with the pretty colors. Me and Jung managed to defend it pretty well. But lag was an issue for me as well as load time, and server not responding. But, I know that you're still working on it poesel so keep at it! I Like!!
  5. "RETARDED TACTICS"! THATS it!! Dark_au, you FREEKIN genius! You have solved all of my DT Woes! I just KNEW that it wasn't me! 'BURP', I Love this game! Hi Guys! [ April 28, 2007, 08:44 AM: Message edited by: Bane ]
  6. Hey Clay! Well, I went to the Wiki and installed, (at least I THINK it was installed), the 'fglrx' driver, but still, I can't see any text when I start DT. Actually, after the install, my box might not be using the fglrx driver because in my xorg.conf file, the driver is listed as 'ati'. I was thinking that it would list as 'fglrx'. Here is another DT.Log after I tryed running DT after the update attempt: I noticed that the GL version is still there. Here is my /etc/X11/xorg.conf: Well.,I just need a freekin' VId card that everyone hasn't forgotten about I think!
  7. Well my friend, I am very grateful, but THAT is going a little beyond my ability. (If it ain't 'Point-and-Click', if I don't have the commands written out so that I can paste and copy to a terminal, I'm freekin' lost!) I would'nt know where to begin. But thanks Toby! I better just start saving for a new Vid Card!
  8. I might be outing myself as a complete dumbo here, but i was under the impression that you can just erase your dropteam folder and that´s it (worked for me, I installed/erased DT on my Xubuntu something like 5 times)). I don´t think there are any other dt files lurking elsewhere. </font>
  9. more like a precambrian clam. holy cow. I gave away my old 9800 a year ago [/QB]</font>

    Bugs in 1.2.5

Most of the time now, I can't even FIND a server to connect to! What happened to that West Coast server that was suppose to help us over here in the U.S.?
  11. Ok! I found it! This is the .Log from Ubuntu Linux. The graphics are all muffed up, and the sound is too. I can't see any text on buttons, and when playing 'Stand alone', the terrain is all white.
  12. Yeah, just as I thought. There is no zip file in my DropTeam directory. I don't know, maybe it was in the DropTeam setup folder, but that was deleted after DT was installed. I WOULD just reinstall DT, and try again, but with my ridiculous Bandwidth, updating is torture!
  13. At this point, you will have a new directory called 32bit. </font><blockquote>code:</font><hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">cp 32bit/* lib/</pre>
