Hey Getting annoyed with SC2 WAW Trying to play email game with friend and it is not working well (email not saving for transfer) Anyway is this game (GC) an upgraded SC2? Does it work well with email games? Do you recommend purchase ? Thanks

Hi After alot of work (and some great help from the support team) my buddy and I finally got both our SC2 WAW games updated to latest update and ready to go He played the first turn of the Barbarossa scenario, emailed it to me, I played my turn and saved it (can see it saved as Email-2 in my email save file under his Email-1) but I cannot locate it in the file out of game We both followed the basic rule of play the entire turn then save, as you can't save email games mid turn last time I checked Is there another place I should look?? We are both running win 10 systems and both updated to latest patches of the game Another thought, is there a similar game that i a newer version of this one which may be more win 10 friendly? Sometimes if you alt-tab to minimize screen then re-open the words show up

Hi Coming back to Cmbb after years Moved the game from my xp machine to win 7 Can't find lic key My other games like SC2 & cmak have it on back of book but I noticed sc1 is on the cd case...which is possibly lost Any way to look it up from game installed on my Xp machine Or do I need to buy another? Thanks

thanks that helps alot i have 2 quad 20mm nicely spread out on medium board and a bunch of halftracks, panzers iv and v, and tigers so we'll see how it goes keeping tankers spread is a good idea too should be fun

hi anyone know if the german sd kfz 7/1 aa halftrack with 4x20mm guns can shoot at aircraft in front of it says it is 'rear facing guns' so i wasn't sure how to postion if using it for aa thanks

thanks king but was wondering if i decide to try cease fire and do not know if my opponent will immediately agree and hit cease fire.................will any 'plots' i make (on the same turn i hit cease fire) take effect, or does cease fire nullify my moves (assuming my opponent does not immediately cease fire)? vc

when using cease fire with pbem game, do the moves entered before cease fire (on the same turn) count, or is cease fire the extent of the turn??

thx for the input i bit the bullet and just uninstalled then reinstalled, now it runs fine again, other than having to do the alt-tab when text doesn't show up in boxes probably had something change the video settings or corrupt the program as a sidenote it seems like you don't have to 'unlicense' the software if uninstalling and reinstalling on the same computer because i accidentally didn't and it reloaded fine thanks again VC

hi i have been playing cmbb through a couple campaigns with no major problems although i still need to alt-tab to minimize the game when text doesn't show up this seems to be different i tried to open the game for a campaign in pbem that we are almost done with and the game starts up either with a black screen playing some music or a screen with very large text on the initial start up screen and it sometimes says the 'game requires at least 800x600' playing with xp system sp 3, ati radeon x1950 pro video card, intel core2 duo cpu E4600@2.4 GHz i was thinking of just uninstalling and reinstalling but thought this may lose our pbem game thanks

hi having some problems after installing cmbb with the pbem and white out of scenario screen for the pbem files i can attach the file but when it is sent it also has a pbem data (gibberish) of 100s of characters in the subject line. is this avoidable also having a whiteout on the scenario screen when starting (until i alt-tab and return) which brings up the text (just annoying) also when i try to save the pbem that are sent to me it doesnt allow me to save it directly to the pbem file but just sticks it on the desktop so i have to copy and paste it to the file........going in through my computer playing on xp computer, ati radeon 9800 vid card with latest catalyst driver (and i tried the radeon fix in other posts but still get whited out scenario text) and using mozilla (which may relate to the file saving issues thanks VC

hi i just came back to cmbb after years off even downloaded the new game (v1.30) and am having the same issue with missing text in the scenario/campaign, the alt tab thing works but what a pain is there no other fix for this, i tried reloading the but this did not help..........however when i first downloaded the game, licensed and started the scenario screen was readable currently running win xp syst with ati card (i think 9800) on a fairly new machine i also found that on my first pbem game when i tried to finish my second turn by hitting GO there was no action and it just went back to the main screen (eg new game, join tcp/ip,etc). my opponent saw no action on his turn too as well i will try the fix someone else mentioned thanks vonc

my friend downloaded the demo and said it ran kinda slow on his high end computer (he runs and xp system with the latest nvidia card and plenty of ram as he builds computers for a living) is this an issue or could it be the demo just runs slow sounds cool CC

thinking of buying this game for me and 2 friends multiplayer sounds cool in that more than 2 players can play a game and can coop against the ai.............does it work well over cable /dsl connection can you play via email? like combat mission?? we've all played cm and this sounds like a cool upgrade thanks CC

the one that comes with sc2 blitzkried vs 1.08

just started playing the global campaign for sc2 blitzkrieg hvs h any one that played this one know if it is possible to invade the different island fortresses or if it is like trying to take malta in normal sc2 blitz?? because there are so many island fortresses and without land air units it seems near impossible to take these areas as allies. also in my first game, i took Benelux and Indonesia (on pacific front) turned into axis controlled Dutch East Indies............was planning to invade these areas as Japan but seems like it would be smarter to wait until later (like just before usa enters war). does anyone have any experience of invading these areas as Japan and the timing. i know this is mostly a strategery decision but just fishing for general strategy thanks

haven't been able to get an answer for this one on related posts for units prepping for amphibious assault, does leadership matter?? for instance, if you are prepping American troops to assault Sicily from North Africa having a leader nearby will usually get them supply of 6 or 7 but without a leader the supply suffers. Will the supply when they hit the beaches automatically go to 10 for the first turn (if the transport only takes 1 turn), or is it the same supply value as what they were at before loading into the amphib boats?? reason i ask is it is hard to get a group of units (eg 3-4 armies) up to 6 or 7 even with a leader nearby, even with control of Gibraltar and Malta. so is would be nice to know if amphib assault troops automatically default to supply of 10 on their first turn off the boat for staging purposes thanks

along the lines of amphib assault do you have a sense if there is a benefit to having a leader next to the guy prior to loading on assault boats, or do they automatically go to 10 if they land on the first turn. trying to decide if it is worth the hassle to have leader attach to units prior to loading into amphibs
