I've downloaded this map but can't seem to find it in game. Which director do I load it to? and how do I access it in game?

I wish I had the sense to do that. I fell trolled and sucked in. I made the mistake of listening to him argue with his Mom trying to get her to swear, before I stopped. I'm frustrated with myself for listening to it for that long. What a waste of time.

Thanks for your suggestion Stikkypixie, I am hoping for realism. Looking for a platform to gain experience with modern RL tactics. Was seeking some feedback if it would be best to get the latest modules and upgrade.

I enjoy playing CMBN but was previously not fond of the game mechanics in CMSF Demo. Tried it a few years ago. I'd like to get some experience with modern equipment (NOT WW2) and think that CMSF could be a good platform for some tactical exercise with more up to date troops and weapons. Can anyone suggest what software I should purchase? Though I may need all of the below. -CMSF? -Marines + Brit + Nato Bundle? -and v1.21 Retail upgrade (Paradox)? Also can anyone recommend: 1) Good or great references for company or platoon tactics? 2) Good company and/or platoon scenarios?

Wego. RT is okay when using a platoon (or two). With more than a company there is too much happening to keep track of all the action at once and I seem to miss so much of the battle.

I was hoping to use a contour map for realism and immersion. I'd like to play from the commander view point. It would be great to use the map for the planning stage and fine tune unit placement after they have arrived at the designated waypoints. (OPs, BOFs, Assault/Phase lines, Etc). For the fine tuning it seems reasonable to get a view from the unit eye level (or use the coloured target line). But I'd get a kick of making the plan on a map that showed the elevation changes.

Is there a way (Mod to covert) the maps in CMBN to show contours?

Do I need to purchase Commonwealth Forces to be able to use this mod?

Tried that. Didn't work. I think I figured out a work around, It seems that my virus software is preventing me from saving. Don't really understand it but if I disable AVG I am able to save.

The Theatre of War 2 editor doesn't seem to be saving the mission file. Iam able to open the application and make changes but when I select SAVE nothing happens. The mission is unchanged. Any ideas?

How do I access a manual or tutorial for Theatre of War editor. The link through the Mission editor won't work for me . Can't seem to read the mht file. anyone know a solution or alternate location of tutorial for editor. Is it worth my time. Is Theatre of war worth any effort?

Can anyone suggest some references to help me use the editor ... tutorials, etc. I've use the 2 mhtml files that came with the game but am looking for more detail

I am able to run the game with a Nvidia 8800 GT

I can not seem to save games. This feature worked fine when I first started but now I can not save game either with the save game function or the quick save. I was able to save 3 times. Anyone have any ideas?

I downloaded the game on line (26 Sep 08) and it seemed to install correctly. The game play worked well with the demo. But in the full version of the game I am unable to set waypoints for individual units or for groups. Also the "backspace" will not work to increase or decrease the time. Any ideas? System: Intel P D 3.4Ghz, 4Gig Ram, 512M Nvidia 8800GTS, Vista Home Premium 32 Bit

I have a laptop (tabley actually) that I have loaded CMBB via a network. In order play the game without the CD I ran a utility program a few years ago. My Laptop doesn't have a CD or DVD drive. I utilize the drives on the desktop when linked to my home network. Now I can't find the program nor remember what it was called. Does any one know of a utility that allows us to play CM games without the CD in the drive?
