Ohh, Supreme Ruler 2010 is great. This game has so much depth that it is amazing. For me...I love that type of game. In fact, I'd rather call it a simulation. There is diplomacy and nearly everything that goes on today you can do in the game. Right now I am playing a campaign where I am the western US vs the southern & eastern US (the US spilt up due to govenring bodies that didn't agree on certain things). Canada also just declared war on me because they were upset that I was making uranium for "energy".
So, I have now focused mainly on Canada. I waged war near the Michigan border and it took me nearly 5 hrs (in real time) to get within 100 miles of Montreal..and that is no exaggeration. Thats why I love this game so much. I just wish it was turn based but then again if that was the case then it would take that much longer. I mean, you can set the tone down for your units to attack not so "aggresivly". After I unite the whole United States of America I plan on taking all of Central & South America. From there I plan on sitting back and builing a superpower like no other (building more nuclear plants along with building a lot of public support for the coming war). This will lead me to become the next Alexander The Great if you get my drift. I may spare the UK * Israel as they could be great allies - which would secure oil and trading routes for my nation. You see, I have it all worked out, lol.
But really, this game is that deep.
